First peek! Lots of beauty, nothing broken – just the way I like it!
The front of the product card has a photo of Dulce Candy, the curator for this box.
The product information card has a list of each item – no pricing, descriptions, or photos – but it’s a great way to check that nothing is missing.
Biobelle – Botanic Fiber Facial Mask .88 oz Full Size ($4.99)
This is a wrinkle minimizing sheet mask with avocado and collagen that is designed to diminish the appearance of fine lines. The mask contains tencel to adhere to the contours of your face to enhance deliverance of the serum and the avocado helps to maintain hydration of the skin. The formula is gentle and non-toxic. Biobelle has had their line of facial masks sold on HSN.
Skinvolve – Body Karate Cream 8 oz Full Size ($40)
This is a daily-use skin lotion containing pure caffeine and Argan oil to moisturize, improve skin texture and tone. Its clinically tested ingredients are supposed to effectively reduce the appearance of cellulite and stretch marks. The caffeine works to improve circulation to stimulate and tone skin while the Argan oil works with anti-aging and hydrating properties. This is a large tube of cream and should last a good while, so the price is not too outrageous. And it is certainly worth a try to diminish ugly cellulite and stretch marks.
Kate Somerville – ExfoliKate Intensive Exfoliating Treatment .5 oz travel size ($24)
This is an exfoliating treatment that only takes two minutes and leaves your skin clean and refreshed. It is good for all skin types. The main ingredients are lactic acid and fruit enzymes— papaya, pineapple, and pumpkin.
Garnier – SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water 3.4 oz travel size ($3.49)
This All-in-1 makeup remover & cleanser can remove mascara, lip stain, and foundation easily. I have tried this from several samples I received recently and found that I really like using it! Just saturate a cotton pad and wipe all over your skin. You don’t have to rinse. And it picks up makeup that my cleanser misses. It is great for all skin types, even sensitive skin.
Luxie Beauty – Rose Gold Tapered Highlighting Brush 522 ($24)
This is a soft, pretty highlighting brush that is 100% cruelty-free and 100% vegan.
Artist Couture – Illuminati Diamond Glow Powder 2.35 g ($10.60)
This is a finely milled loose powder that shimmers in silver and champagne tones. You can highlight your face or use it on eyes, lips, or body. Definitely for evening use! It was created by Angel Merino, one of the curators of the Fall BeautyCon box.
Too Faced – Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer in Medium/Deep .08 oz sample size ($8.64)
This is a deliciously scented, cocoa powder infused matte bronzer! And it is perfect for use with the Luxie Beauty highlighting brush!
L’Oreal Paris – Voluminous Lash Primer in White .24 oz Full Size ($5.99)
This is a white primer/base for your mascara. It amplifies, conditions, and volumizes so ends up giving you longer, thicker lashes when you apply your mascara.
L’Oreal Paris – Voluminous Feline Mascara in Blackest Noir .27 oz Full Size ($7.59)
This is a serious black mascara to give your lashes great definition along with instant volume and density. It has an ultra-glossy formula to give you shiny, smooth lashes.
Rimmel London – The Only 1 Surprise Lipcolor in 610 Cheeky Coral .11 oz Full Size ($7)
This is a bright coral color lipstick with a bit of a fruity scent. It is a bit dark for me but I still like the cheerful color. And you can apply it very lightly if the color is overpowering. This is a last-all-day, moisturizing lipstick.
ColourPop – Lippie Stix in BeautyCon Pink .35 oz ($5)
This BeautyCon exclusive lipstick is a collaboration with ColourPop and only available in the winter BeautyCon box. It is a creamy, medium – full coverage with a glossy finish.
The retail value of the beauty products in the Winter 2016 BeautyCon box came to $141.30. It was quite a full box of skin care and cosmetic items and most were full size. For $29 once each quarter, I don’t think I have seen many other beauty subscription boxes with the same consistant value/price paid ratio. There was a great mix of high end and drug store brands and I really like each thing in the box, though I might not wear the darker lipstick. BeautyCon is rapidly becoming my favorite beauty sub box!
What did you think?
So much great stuff!! I love both of the lip colors so much!! That facial mask sounds divine too!!
Wow! This is definitely one of the better beauty sub boxes I’ve seen. This is a really nice assortment of skincare and makeup! I like everything in it.
