Wawi 2019 24 Days of Chocolate Joy Advent Calendar

The Wawi 2019 24 Days of Chocolate is an inexpensive Advent calendar that works well for people on a budget or for those years when you want to bring an Advent calendar for everyone in the office. This calendar was available at World Market for $5.96 in 4 different box designs. We chose this cute holiday gnome surrounded by polka dot mushrooms and a very sweet little mouse.

This chocolate Advent calendar contains 24 little German chocolate candies, each one a different traditional design. The chocolate candies are very small, as you would expect from the price of the box, but the cost per piece is only 25 cents. These candies tasted chocolaty and sweet, but not as creamy as others we have reviewed. Since the plastic holder inside the box is the candy mold, you have to pry or hit your piece of candy out of its mold each day after you open your little door.

The Wawi 2019 24 Days of Chocolate Joy Advent Calendar was a good example of an inexpensive chocolate Advent calendar. Because it was distributed by Cost Plus World Market it was priced higher than most – Trader Joe’s similar Advent calendars were 99 cents last year. And World Market gave these away as loss leaders, while supplies lasted, this past weekend in-stores! But if you want to try an Advent calendar for the first time, have a limited budget, are gifting a crowd, or for any other of the numerous reasons I can think of, this Wawi 2019 24 Days of Chocolate Joy Advent Calendar could be just right for your needs.
