Christmas on the Island of Sodor is the most festive time of all. Kids can celebrate the holiday season by unwrapping a different miniature push-along train engine for each day from December 1 – 24th, including 6 exclusive MINIS engines with holiday-themed decorations!

Jamie was excited to open the doors, but still needed help getting the trains out. There are 6 exclusive Christmas-themed engines to be found inside! We only opened a couple doors though, as this is going to be his actual advent calendar!

The first door revealed this fun snowflake-covered engine named Scruff! Jamie was fascinated by him and didn’t want to let him go. He really liked pushing him along the tracks on the box. He will have a fun surprise every morning opening the new day’s box to find which car is inside! The calendar is recommended for ages 3+ however we found it to be perfect for our 19 month old. 🙂

Each miniature push-along train is styled to look like a Thomas & Friends character. They’re small enough to grab a few and take them in the car, but big enough to fit nicely in Jamie’s hands. They can all link together to form one long train, too. The detailing is wonderful on these tiny toys! We are very impressed with the variety and whimsy inside the advent calendar.

The Thomas & Friends MINIS 2020 Advent Calendar is a great choice for a preschool train conductor, rolling stock enthusiast, or just a fan of the video series! Jamie has been watching the newer Thomas & Friends shows on Netflix and loves dancing to the theme. Now he will have his own set of little engines to play with while he dances and watches their fun adventures in Sodor!
