Sweese Porcelain Fluted Bowls
I love colorful kitchenware! Sweese sent me these beautiful porcelain fluted bowls to review and they are the perfect size and colors to be both useful and decorative! Their 26 oz. size means I can use them for almost anything – salads, soups, cereals – or for blending and holding recipe ingredients when I feel creative in the kitchen. Plus these versatile bowls are safe for the oven, freezer, and microwave.
The bowls are made with hard-paste porcelain which is a lead-free ceramic. They are strong enough to resist chips and scratches. You can put them in the dishwasher without worry, or easily wash the bowls by hand. These bowls won’t stain, either. Each bowl has a unique fluted design around the outside that makes them easy to hold, less likely to slip out of your hands, and ideal for children. And if bright colors aren’t your choice of kitchenware, Sweese also makes these same bowls in a set of all white that will match almost any decor.
Sweese is dedicated to creating useful products that are efficient and durable. They create products “that not only enhance your daily cooking chores, but become an integral part of your everyday life.” Their kitchenware products are designed so you will use them over and over again – useful tools that are staples of your kitchen!

These Sweese Porcelain Fluted Bowls are beautiful! I like the fluted design & all the different colors. They will look beautiful on the morning breakfast table for cereal, at lunch for soup with a sandwich, and at dinner with a lovely salad in them. Thanks for the review!

Where ate the bowls manufactured?
I am interested in purchasing Sweese dinnerware because they say they’re lead free. The only thing holding me back is that I can’t seem to get or find an answer regarding the following questions:
The porcelain they use is claimed to be lead free but what about the colored glazes? That’s usually where the need to worry about lead is.
Are their products free of cadmium?
And finally, where are their products manufactured?
I have sent the company message with these questions and have yet to receive a response. The answers are not on their website either. So now I’m searching google for answers and came across your review. If you have a contact with the company, would you please see if they’ll answer these questions. Depending on the answers I’m ready to replace all my kitchen coffee mugs, dinner plates, and bowls with their products.
Thanks
Hi, Jenny! Thank you for visiting our blog — we’re so glad you stumbled upon our site! 🙂 We have not collaborated with Sweese in quite some time and unfortunately do not have contact with the company at this time. You are asking extremely good questions about the products and I’m so sorry to say we do not have the answers for you nor can we get ahold of the company. Please let us know if you end up hearing from Sweese in response to your questions and we hope you have a very happy new year! 🙂
I have heard back from Sweese. They confirmed their products are free of lead and cadmium including the colored glazes. I did not get an answer on where products are manufactured. I’m satisfied with their response though. I’ve been searching for some new dinnerware that’s free of lead and cadmium. Glad to have finally found what I was looking for. It’s crazy that most dinnerware has lead and/or cadmium.
I’m so glad they got back to you! That’s great news. It’s fantastic to know that their products satisfy your needs for dinnerware. I hope you enjoy the products you end up getting from their line!!
