We attended a book signing by Robert Beatty and it was an Asheville occasion not to be missed! The Serafina books are written about imaginary events at the Biltmore House, a little local spot for those of us who live in Asheville but in reality America’s largest home on a beautiful 8,000 acre estate.

The book signing was enhanced by costumed actors, wild animals, and lots of cake and food goodies. The line was all the way around the upper floor of Barnes & Noble!

And a local ice cream shop named a new flavor for the book series –
