Saffron Soap Subscription Box Review Dec 2015 & Discount Code
♥ Homespun Holidays! ♥
Saffron is a monthly subscription box that sends soap each month. Their soaps are handmade by artisan soap makers. Right now they are just doing soaps but in 2016 they will be releasing moisturizers, scrubs and bath bombs.
They have 3 subscription levels to choose from, and there is a $2.99 shipping fee added to the monthly price:
2 soaps plus an occasional bath product (soap tray or scrubber) for $13.99
3 soaps plus the same occasional bath product as above for $19.99
5 soaps plus the same occasional bath product as above for $29.99
This month’s box contained 2 soaps and a soap dish. They included a card with the product details, and I like that little touch. Especially with soaps, since you can’t tell the details of each one by just looking at them.
Dead Sea Mud Soap from Mineral 21
This is handcrafted, organic, detoxing, and cleansing. It helps with acne, psoriasis and exzema. And it smells like spearmint! The salt in the top half of the soap exfoliates dead skin cells while removing toxins that lie deep inside pores. The Dead Sea mud in the bottom half infuses vitamin-enriched minerals into the skin. This soap is perfect for us. My husband suffers from psoriasis and will love the help this soap provides.
Almond Soap from SoCal Valley
This is handcrafted, organic and exfoliating with Vitamin E. It helps with dry and irritated skin. The natural oils and exfoliating effect of chopped almonds rejuvenate new skin growth, bringing you healthy and smooth skin. It smells delicious! They suggest you do not eat the soap!
Also included with the soap is a wooden soap dish. This will be handy for the dead sea mud soap.
This was my first, but definitely not last, Saffron box and I liked what they sent. Being the fancy soap freak that I am, this was like getting a box of chocolates in the mail and I already have them out for use! I’m looking forward to seeing what 2016 brings when they add in the moisturizers, scrubs and bath bombs. Have you tried Saffron? Are you a bar soap user or do you primarily go for liquid soaps?
