Pusheen Box Spring 2016

Squeeeee!!! I am totally obsessed with cats, in case you didn’t notice, and am a self-professed cat lady extraordinaire with six felines currently living in our house.  As far as I’m concerned, there is no cartoonish kitty as cute as Pusheen the Cat. I love her like whoa and was so excited to order my annual subscription of Pusheen Box!! This is a quarterly subscription which was first released in December 2015 (Winter 2015). I’m sad I missed the inaugural box, but happy I was able to order a year’s subscription when the Spring box subscription period opened! LOOK AT THIS BOX!!! The actual box IS Pusheen the Cat! I’m SO in love! (And so is Agi… she was like, whaaaa?) Look at those cute little paws and tail! I love this box. I will not part with it, no matter how much Jonathan wants me to… I won’t do it.

First peek in the box and holy Pusheen! Everything is branded like crazy. I should mention that this box is licensed by Isaac Morris Limited (IML) and is totally official and authentically Pusheen.

There is NO mistaking this box for anything else… branding, branding, branding! Look at that cute kitty face. This would be a perfect gift to give someone who is going through some hard times… how could you not smile with all of these Pusheen faces staring at you?

The information card contained beautiful graphics as well as little descriptions of everything contained in the Spring 2016 box. This month’s theme appears to be all about baking and Springtime, so obviously I am obsessed. Seriously, can it get any cuter?? So much Pusheen in one little box! Most of the items are either exclusive to the box or first edition pre-releases!

Even the back of the info card is covered in Pusheen joy. (Perhaps I am breaking the record for how many times I use the words “Pusheen” and “cute”…)

 

Baker Pusheen Vinyl Figure

This was the exclusive featured item of the Spring 2016 Pusheen Box!

This makes me want to get a lockable glass cabinet like what my mom has to keep my trinkets and cute bits and bobs. I NEED to display this little girl! (NEED.)

Baker Pusheen Apron

Look at this cute little apron! The picture looks just like the little vinyl figure! I want to love this so badly, but it is a touch too small for my body. I tend to be a bit messy when I bake and I prefer an apron that is a little longer in the front.

I almost never take pictures of myself, but I love you guys and am going to tough it out and show you the length of this apron on me. I am 5’3″ tall and the apron falls just below the bottom of my girl-jeans pocket. I think I’m going to offer this in a future reader giveaway so one of you can enjoy the cuteness of Pusheen the Cat! 🙂

Pusheen the Cat Socks (3 Pack)

These are so cute! All three pairs feature Pusheen munching on different foods.

Look how cute! I really love the choco chip cookies!

I know what you’re thinking… I’d make a GREAT foot model… But I just had to show you what Pusheen looked like when the socks were worn! These are slightly taller socks that are about mid-calf height. Super cute, soft, and comfy. I wear Dansko shoes at work and tend to walk around the office in my socks all day… sounds weirder than it is, I promise. I work in an office of about six people. Anyway, my coworkers are going to love my socks. They already think I’m insane with my CatLadyBox shirts, cat magnets, pictures, etc.

Pusheen the Cat 3 Piece Pin Set

These are really cute pins that match the socks and show Pusheen nomming on some delicious snack foods. The pins are metal and enamel which makes them feel high-quality. I cannot think of anywhere I could display these so I believe I will add this to our giveaway stash to be given to a lucky reader! (Y’all are SO lucky you’re my favorite.)

Pusheen the Cat Snack Sticker Set

I just can’t even. These are precious and I love them so much. I must incorporate these into our giveaway winners’ correspondence I send out. I mean, everyone could use some Pusheen sticker love, right? I’m so totally right.

Pusheen Umbrella

This will be the second cat umbrella that we have received at The Homespun Chics (thanks to CatLadyBox!) This one is a standard umbrella with no frills or automatic releases.

Rambo and Cooper don’t seem to mind the fact that this umbrella is completely manual. Look at all those cute Pusheen faces! I tend to forget about umbrellas when it’s raining and end up getting drenched. I have already put the CatLadyBox umbrella in my car for emergency downpours, and will not be needing a second umbrella, regardless of it’s ridiculous cuteness SO this sweet thing will be going in the giveaway stack as well! Yay for our readers!!!

Pusheen Mini Planter

Eeep! Look at that face…

I have learned the hard way that plants do not survive my cat house, so this will be used to hold my huge stash of amazing pens (thanks to Cloth & Paper Co. Penspiration box!)

I really love the details on all of the Pusheen products. Is Pusheen really Pusheen without her striped tail? Tee hee hee!

I am glad to see that the planter includes a little drain hole in the bottom so as not to over-saturate the plant!

 

Pusheen Cookie Cutter

This box is getting me SO motivated to start baking some more! I’ll be interested to see how the cookies turn out with the little imprints of Pusheen’s face and stripes. Perhaps this will light a fire under me to learn how to ice cookies with royal icing! (Probably not…)

Pusheen Key Cover

This is a rubber-ish type plastic-y key cover with Pusheen. On her side. Winking. C’mon, people, this is ridiculous. I love her and I love this key cover! My house key is sorta huge and doesn’t fit in the key cover, sadly. I can however use it for my mom’s house key, which I use when she is out of town and I’m cleaning her kitty litter. I am just a little concerned about the keychain falling off or breaking. I need to think on the best way to use this key cover. If I can’t find a way to use this, I will begrudgingly add this to our giveaway prizes so one of you can see her smiling, winking face every time you unlock a door!

 

My Thoughts

I am SO PUMPED about my Pusheen Box subscription and feel like I’m back in middle school again! (Except with disposable income to buy ridiculous amounts of cat-themed stuff!) I am positive I received at least twice the value of what I paid for this quarterly subscription. Though I cannot use everything in this box, I am happy I get to share the Pusheen love with you guys in the form of a fun Pusheen giveaway (coming soon!). Obviously I am obsessed here. I think this is a great box to be on a quarterly basis and am eagerly awaiting my Summer 2016 box coming in July!!
