October 2016 Target Baby Box
Target has a monthly $7 beauty box and this month they also had a Target Baby Box! The cost was $7 and it sold out within hours. This is a one time purchase, not a subscription box.
The Homespun Chics paid for this box. All opinions are 100% our own. This post contains affiliate links.
“The best of all things Baby.”
The October 2016 Target Baby Box was full of all kinds of baby things and something for me, too! The box was very sweet, with a gold lid and gold dotted swiss design.
The box included a product information card plus a $10 off $50 worth of baby items coupon!
SheaMoisture Baby Shampoo & Bath Milk 3.2 oz sample size ($2.50)
This shampoo/bath milk is organic, sulfate-free, and not tested on animals, though I think any animal would love a bath with this! The Manuka Honey is to rehydrate skin, the Provence Lavender Oil is to help encourage a restful sleep, and the ylang ylang is an aromatherapy scent used for its calming properties. The Manuka Honey and Provence Lavender scent smells more like an adult scent than something meant for babies, but it is soothing and pleasant anyhow.
Skinfix – Gentle Eczema Balm 2 oz Full Size ($18.99)
This balm is formulated for baby skin. It is clinically proven to treat eczema, dryness, and dermatitis. Fragrance-free, steroid-free, nut-free ingredients, it is a Parent Tested, Parent Approved award winner. Perfect for Little G’s occasional bouts with eczema!
Seventh Generation – Coconut Care Lotion .5 oz sample size ($.60)
This moisture lotion is made with pure coconut oil to nourish and soothe a baby’s skin – and your skin. It is coconut scented, fast absorbing and non-greasy.
Dapple – Pure ‘n’ Clean Bottles & Dishes 3 oz travel size ($1.49)
This is a fast rinsing, biodegradable formula to wash bottles, sippy cups, pacifiers, breast pump components and toddler-ware. It eliminates milk film and odor, is fragrance-free, and is great for grownup dishes as well.
The Honest Company – Wipes 10 ct. travel size ($.99)
Premium, ultra thick and super absorbent cleansing cloths in a convenient travel pack. These wipes contain a botanical blend of cucumber, chamomile, pomegranate, and masterwort leaf.
Babyganics – 3X Laundry Detergent 1 oz sample size ($.15)?
This is a triple concentrated detergent safe for diapers and baby things. It is fragrance free and plant based. And you can use it for the rest of the family’s laundry as well.
California Baby – Calendula Cream .05 oz sample size ($2.45)
This is a concentrated, rich cream that provides deep hydration for both face and body. It is certified organic, botanically based, non-irritating, and French Lavender scented. I love the scent but it isn’t very baby-ish.
(For Me!) Burt’s Bees – Facial Cleansing Towelettes 10 ct ($1.79)
These pre-moistened facial cleansing towelettes contain white tea extract. They remove dirt, oil, and makeup without rinsing. I always love Burt’s Bees products and use these towelettes a lot!
The value of the products in the October 2016 Target Baby Box came to roughly $28.96. The most expensive was the full size eczema balm and I was so happy that it was something useful for Little G. He will love the shampoo/bath milk, too! And we can always use more wipes, especially in a lovely purse-size package. I was very pleased with this Target baby box! It had very good value for the money and with the $10 coupon, we actually made money on it.
What did you think? Have you ever received a Target baby box?
What a fun idea!! I would’ve loved this when my son was young!! How cool that they decided to do one!! Brilliant!
WOW! I missed this!! For $7, this was a steal!! This also could have been a great baby shower gift!! This box contained a lot of top products – all what babies needs and could use!! Maybe next trime.
