Henri Bendel – Packable Umbrella ($58)
This is your very own designer umbrella with the signature Henri Bendel stripes. Perfect to toss in your purse or tote just in case, it measures 8″ long X 2 1/2″ wide when closed up and has a 4 3/4″ carrying strap. I like that it has an automatic open and close feature so you don’t have to fumble around with it in the rain or when you are trying to get in or out of the car.
I am definitely not an urban fashionista so would not have spent $58 on an umbrella – but who can’t use another umbrella? A welcome addition to my travel gear!
Lalicious – Brown Sugar Vanilla Shower Oil and Bubble Bath 10 oz ($28)
Oh Yum!! This decadent brown sugar vanilla bath stuff smells so good that I could just drink it! I will just have to settle for taking more baths to spend some time getting clean in the luxurious bubbles! You can use this for showers, baths and shaving your legs – it starts as an oil and works into a moisturizing lather for silky smooth skin.
My Cup of Cocoa – Dark Drinking Chocolate 4 oz ($5.99)
This is hot chocolate with no artificial anything – just dark cocoa and sugar. You add milk, heat it up and away you go! I don’t usually have milk here so I sent this home with Sarah so Little G can enjoy it! Just a little love from his Grandma!
Morning Culture – Rise & Shine Diner Mug ($16)
This is just what your morning mug should be! It is a diner mug – sturdy, heavy, holds 10 oz of your morning coffee – and keeps it warm longer. An INSTANT new favorite for me!
Makeup Eraser – The Makeup Eraser Mini ($12.99)
This is a reusable, compact, purse-size makeup remover that does the job with just water. The blanket-soft pad is made from pink polyester fiber with a hand-sewn sateen edging. You just wet the cloth and remove any makeup, including waterproof eyeliner and mascara. Then throw it in the wash and it comes out clean. Lasts up to 1,000 washes. Don’t you just love finding these quirky new items??
Power Your Happy – Work Hard, Play Nice & Build Your Dream Life by Lisa Sugar ($20)
This is a newly published hardcover 256 page book by the founder of Popsugar just out in September 2016. It is a sort of lifestyle guide meant to encourage people to have the courage to follow their dreams.
Revlon – ColorStay Liquid Eye Pen in Blackest Black ($7.99)
This is a black liquid eyeliner pen with a felt tip for a no-mess precision application. The liner lasts for up to 16 hours and is not supposed to smudge or smear all day. It is ophthalmologist tested and suitable for contact lens wearers. Black eyeliner is just too too for me but Sarah will really rock this stuff!
The RV (retail value) of the items in the October 2016 Popsugar Must Have box came to $148.97! It contained products that my frugal self probably would not have purchased individually at their retail cost but that I am so happy to try out and fall in love with! I especially love the bubble bath and the mug – and I get a good grandma glow from thinking about Little G sipping his hot chocolate as the weather gets colder!
What did you think? What was your favorite October 2016 Popsugar Must Have item?
I love the cocoa and mug. That would be great this winter
Omgosh is is weird that my most favorite part of this is the diner mug?!?! Love it!! This box is just full of cute!
Totally NOT weird at all! I love the mug too! I tried to get mom to let me have it, but she already hid it from my grabby fingers! He he!
