The October 2016 Pet Treater Box theme is:
Bark-Toberfest
This was a theme that my boys totally approved of and were eager to get in the spirit of the box! They KNOW when a Pet Treater box arrives at my their house and it immediately get guarded in case that pesky UPS guy should show up and steal it! Let’s take a look at the doggie and people goodies that October brought!
Pet Treater ran out of their signature boxes and had to use a brown box this month. Same great subscription box sort of in disguise – must have been their Halloween costume!
First up was a cute letter from a pup named Adalbert including a photo of him all decked out in his German attire, ready to go practice his Chicken Dance! He let us know that his friends at the shelter sent thanks because every purchase of a Pet Treater Box sends a bed, blanket or toy to a local shelter dog or cat.
Rocket wanted to help with the review!
Bow Wow Pet – Pink Bone Toy for Breast Cancer Awareness
This is a pink fabric 9″ long bone-shaped stuffed toy with a Breast Cancer Awareness pink ribbon stitched on one end.
No squeaker, but Rocket loves it anyway!
Richards Homewares – Over The Door Pet Organizer ($15.89)
This is a cute pet stuff holder in black that has tan trim and orange accents, so it looks Halloween-ish but would be great all year long. It has 4 medium and 2 large pockets, plus a side hook for leash or collar storage. The over the door hook has bone shaped grommets, plus the bottom large pocket is ventilated so you can put wet toys in it and they will get dry.
Drinking Buddy Kerchief
Keeping with the Bark-Toberfest theme, we got a new party kerchief so the boys will be right in style when we celebrate! It is 100% polyester and can be washed in cold water if they spill some of their beverage on it!
Rocket the Party Boy and his Drinking Buddy, Jed!
Bowser Beer – Porky Pup Porter 12 oz ($4)
This non-alcoholic beer for dogs is pork flavored and salt and fat free. Plus it contains nutritious malt barley and glucosamine for joint health. Yum!
Grriggles – Boo Bat Plush Dog Toy ($10.23)
Here is a not-so-scary stuffed plush bat squeaker toy! It looks great as part of my Halloween decorations, too! The wings are unstuffed so can be used for tugging and it is small enough for small dog breeds to enjoy.
Nature’s Deli – Beef Knuckle ($10)
This is a huge beef knuckle for a happy dog to chew on. But not my dogs – I never feed any bones. I may use it the next time I make bone broth for them, though.
PetSafe Indigo Smokehouse Strips Dog Treats – Chicken and Bacon 1 oz each ($2.67 each)
These treats are vacuum-sealed fresh meat and contain no by-products, corn, soy, wheat or artificial colors or preservatives. They are made in the USA. The dogs LOVE them!
Silicone Pumpkin Muffin/Cupcake Pan with Spatula ($9.99?)
This was our Pet Treater for your Human addition this month and it is just so cute! I had to give it a try, so I made some chocolate chip muffins.
Spatula works fine!
Let’s put them in the oven!
Voila! How cool is that! Little G will freak out!!
The October 2016 Pet Treater Box had lots of great goodies for all of us! They kept to their theme plus added in some holiday-themed items as well. I can’t find prices for everything but I know that the RV of the items well exceeded the box price so it is, as always, a great deal!
What did you think?
Oh I love that the purchase gives to shelter dogs!! I love those pumpkin molds and the puppy porter!!
This box was so much fun! Meadow has been going to the dog park and this yellow bandana will help locate her!
Looks like it was well enjoyed! I just love getting the random things in these boxes!
