November 2016 Target Beauty Box Review
Target offers a popular, inexpensive beauty box every month that always sells out fast. The box is a one time purchase, not a monthly subscription box. The cost this month was $10 with free shipping.
The Homespun Chics paid for this subscription box. All opinions are 100% our own. This post contains affiliate links.
The theme of the November 2016 Target Beauty Box was
Beauty BALLOT
“Must-haves. Can’t-live-withouts. Obsessions…In this box you’ll find beauty faves that totally win our vote.”
The November 2016 Target Beauty Box went up for sale on Halloween – that’s still October on my calendar! And again it sold out fast. I love exploring what Target sends in my box and there are full size products as well as samples. The price paid is always worth the contents, even if I don’t love everything in there every time. I always appreciate the product information card that tells me about each item chosen, plus there is that $3 off coupon attached!
L’Oreal – Advanced HairCare Volume Filler Thickening Shampoo sample size 1.7 oz ($.55)
This is a thickening shampoo for fine, thin hair that penetrates the hair fiber to create texture from within, giving hair lasting volume over time. I have very thin hair so I am always eager to give this kind of thing a try. The bottle says “feels like 2X more hair.” There is a huge difference in price between Target and Amazon for the same size shampoo – $5.39 (Target) vs $13.85 (Amazon). I know where I’m going to purchase mine!
HASK – Keratin Protein Soothing Deep Conditioner sample size 1.75 oz ($1.99)
This is a packet of deep conditioner for your hair (all types) to leave it smooth, shiny, and frizz-free. It also repairs damage and reduces breakage – perfect for over-processed and color-treated hair. This is the kind of deep conditioner that you apply and leave in for 10 minutes.
Revlon – ColorStay Eyeliner Full Size in Black ($9.99)
Another black eyeliner. This is a good one, though, waterproof and all-day wear with a built in sharpener and a smudger. I especially like both the sharpener and the smudger. Just wish it was a lighter color. I think it will be perfect for Sarah so still a good deal!
L’Oreal – Voluminous Primer Base Full Size ($5.99)
This is a white primer/base for your mascara. It amplifies, conditions, and volumizes so ends up giving you longer, thicker lashes when you apply your mascara. Great for the holidays coming up!
Laneige – Water Bank Soothing Mask 1 mask ($4.80)
This is a refreshing hydrogel moisture sheet mask designed to deliver moisture deep into your skin. It soothes and cools the skin upon application. With the dry winter weather almost upon us, a gel mask like this will do wonders for that dry, pinched look we get sometimes even when we are well hydrated. And these masks are super popular right now!
Andalou Naturals – 1000 Roses Beautiful Day Cream sample size .4 oz ($5.88)
Mmmm! This day cream smells SO good! Made with Alpine rose stem cells, pomegranate, hyaluronic acid, and aloe vera, how can it be anything but soothing and nourishing to sensitive skin? This is another unexpected surprise from Target that I might have to purchase full-size when the sample runs out! And on this one Amazon has the better price.
W3LL People – Bio Brightener Cream sample size ($??)
This is a tiny sample of illuminating cream to give your face an instant glow. I can’t find it as a stand-alone purchase, only in the W3LL beauty basics kit. It would be most effective to apply with a brush and is made with organic botanicals.
The retail value of the November 2016 Target Beauty Box came in at roughly $30. Two of the cosmetics were full size and the remaining 5 items were samples or singles. This remains one of my favorite beauty boxes for their variety of products and the very affordable price.
Did you get a Target box this month? What were your favorite beauty items curated for November?
I need to try that shampoo. My hair is thin and baby fine 🙁
I always forget!! Is there a way to get a notification when they come out!?!? Im so sad I missed another one!
Your Target Beauty Box reviews really have me thinking about ways to set aside some money to get one next month! I would use all the things that were in this month’s box.
Lots of nice things for the ladies in these Target boxes. Always something you use or need too. thanks
