Sticker Swaps: November 2016 Edition
There was definitely a time in my life where I made it my mission to collect as many vinyl stickers as I could. I used to put stickers all over my notebooks, instrument cases, school lockers, music stands, and pretty much anything else I could find with a smooth surface. If I’m being honest, I still collect vinyl stickers to put on my violin case and music stand… I’m still cool…
Obviously I was completely stoked when Sticker Swaps asked us to review their very first mailing of this new sticker subscription service! The company is based in the UK and ships envelopes filled with unique vinyl stickers each month. Best part? Shipping is free worldwide!
The Cost: $9.99 (US) per month
3-month Subscription = $27.99 ($9.33 per month)
6-month Subscription = $53.99 ($8.99 per month)

First peek!
(For the record, the November 2016 Edition did arrive at the very end of November.)
It is only fitting that everything inside the envelope was an actual sticker! Subscribers received a Sticker Swaps logo sticker as well as a little label that included a web address to find out more about this month’s sticker edition.

Clockwise From The Top:
Being the office nerd that I am, of course I am obsessed with the look and feel of Blackwing pencils. I’m happy to see Blackwing as the November Sticker Swaps sponsor and only wish that they could have squeezed a pencil into the envelope along with the logo sticker!
This little guy is really cute! I love the design and have already put this sticker on my violin case. 🙂 I love how Sticker Swaps featured a design from a close friend of theirs. It makes this package feel like a personal gift to the subscriber.
Word. notebooks are really great to stick in a purse or briefcase for jotting down quick notes and phone numbers. I have always liked their simple logo design too.
This sticker is one of my favorites. I love the contrast between the blue, white, and black. Jay Master is a designer in Austin, TX who submitted this sticker to be included in Sticker Swaps. The design reminds me of all the summers I spent camping in the woods with friends.
Left To Right:
Nostalgia to the max! I used to be so jealous of my brother because he had a GameBoy and I didn’t. With all the craziness going on over the Nintendo Classic this holiday season, I’m quite happy reminiscing with this GameBoy vinyl sticker instead. 🙂 The designer, Jasmine Prasad (aka Jazz), is based in the UK and creates stickers, gifts and accessories featuring her original artwork and “geeky fandom stuff,” all available in her Etsy shop.
Is it just me, or does this mushroom fella remind you of the Mario mushroom guys at all? Perhaps it’s because I placed him right next to the GameBoy… This sticker was designed by Michel Marcoux (aka Mictoon) in Montreal, Canada. I received the blue mushroom, which is one of five different colors available to purchase and collect from Mictoon’s Etsy shop. As much as I like the mushroom, I totally have my eye on the Buddha Kitty Cat Vinyl Sticker #1.

Gabby Maravelas is a tattoo artist in Minneapolis, Minnesota! I love this logo and only wish I lived closer so I could get a tattoo from Gabby herself! She also has an Etsy shop where she sells spunky stickers, pins, greeting cards, and prints.
This is one of the random stickers that came in my envelope. This company is based out of London and creates high quality grooming products for the bearded individual. I believe this particular sticker is used on their shipping boxes. Either way, I like it and will most likely gift this to my most bearded friend. 🙂
- A bear…
It’s a bear! This is another random sticker! I wish I had a hint as to where it came from but either way, Little G has claimed it as his own. Hooray!
- A dude?
The last random sticker that came in the sticker pack. Again, I really wish I knew who this was or where it came from! This sticker is about the size of a postcard and looks similar to some of the graffiti art in downtown Asheville. I like this but have no clue where I would put it.
Final Thoughts
I had no clue what to expect from this subscription but was very pleasantly surprised by the thoughtful curation. I love how some of the stickers came from the owners’ personal sticker collections and that most were created by individual artists/designers from around the world. My teenage self would have subscribed to this service in a heartbeat, especially at only $9.99 per month!
My favorite sticker? The GameBoy vinyl, hands down. I finally have my very own GameBoy — in your FACE, bro!

These are really cute. I like how these are the nice stickers, and are longlasting. One of my nieces are really into these!
