First peek at the November 2016 Allure Beauty Box!
The November 2016 Allure Beauty Box theme is:
Party Central
Along with the monthly beauty products curated to the theme, they include a great mini-mag that contains “product reviews and tips to help you get the best results from your samples.”
Red Flower – Moisturizing Body Lotion in Icelandic Moonflower 30 ml. sample size ($3.10)
This is a rich moisturizing cream made with aloe-leaf juice, avocado oil, and coconut oil plus shea butter and vitamin E. It has a lovely floral scent and soaks right into your skin to soften and hydrate. The scent is supposed to “inspire restful sleep and transport the mind.”
Bulgari Omnia Crystalline – Eau De Toilette .17 oz sample size ($6.21)
This is a scent sample with a light, fresh, floral fragrance that is relaxed and not overpowering. Something to wear to the farmer’s market or a casual dinner.
Eyeko – Eye Do Liquid Eyeliner in black .04 oz Full Size ($20)
This carbon black eyeliner gives you intense single stroke color. It has a flexible cone-shaped nib that releases just the right amount of color so you can get it right. The formula is fast drying and water resistant.
Bonvivant – Botanical Mask Pack 1 mask ($3)
This is a Korean facial treatment mask for dry, sensitive skin. The directions for use are translated on the back cover. It contains aloe-leaf water and hyaluronic acid plus a few other ingredients to soften and soothe. The mask itself is a thin, breathable fiber cloth.
Eau Thermale Avene – Hydrance Optimale Rich Hydrating Cream 15 ml sample size ($12)
This is a facial moisturizer for dry to very dry sensitive skin made with thermal spring water to soothe & soften and shea butter, lipomucin and meiboserine to moisturize. It has a very faint scent and is hypoallergenic, does a very good job of moisturizing but does make my face feel a bit sticky.
Klorane – Thickness & Vitality Shampoo with Essential Olive Extract 3.3 oz sample size ($9)
This is shampoo for aging hair. Scary thought! But anyhow, it is a volumizing shampoo that gently cleanses and adds body to fine hair. It lathers well and the olive extract nourishes your scalp. This is a good size sample!
The retail value of the beauty products curated for the November 2016 Allure Beauty Box came to $53.31, so it was quite a good value for the $15 cost of the box. This was my first Allure box and I was pleased – I always like it when a lot of the items in a sub box are things that I will use frequently. And while I probably won’t use (yet another!) black eyeliner or the scent, everything else is great for me. I am looking forward to what the December box will bring!
Oooh I like this one!! I was wondering if it was a new one for you since I hadn’t seen it reviewed before!! I like it too!! That eye liner sounds like my fav!!
This is an amazing value! I love the Bvlgari perfumes and have this one. I love that they included a Korean facial mask.
