New Belgium Brewing Adult Coloring Book Giveaway! Ends 9/7
Mom and I received the New Belgium Brewing Adult Coloring Book from Blue Star Coloring this month and took it as a sign for us to check out the newest brewery in town! New Belgium Brewing officially purchased land in Asheville’s River Arts District in 2012 and has been building (and building and building!) their brewery, tasting room, and distribution center ever since! New Belgium’s “Liquid Center” tasting room officially opened to the public on May 2nd. The Asheville brewery’s grand opening and New Belgium’s 25th Birthday Bash will be happening in just a few short days on August 27th! Woot woot!
We arrived to the “Liquid Center” tasting room just before the rain set in last Sunday and were SO glad we did! The tasting room is located in a separate building apart from the brewery and overlooks the French Broad River. Though the brewery property is still partially under construction, the tasting room is surrounded with beautiful landscaping and swirling walkways.
There were New Belgium bicycles parked all around the property.
New Belgium even had their own icicle tricycle parked outside! How cool is that??
The tasting room boasted a HUGE display corner of New Belgium merchandise, including fresh copies of the Blue Star Coloring adult coloring book!
There was a wide selection of New Belgium brews on tap and the bartenders were SO friendly!
Cheers, mama!! Mom stuck with the tried and true Fat Tire Amber Ale while I chose the Slow Ride Session IPA. 🙂
Step One: Grab a beer. Preferably one that’s yours.
Check! 🙂
Now let’s take a peek inside the coloring book!
Every page was very different and offered relaxing patterns to color while enjoying a pint.
We had a WONDERFUL time coloring and drinking our craft brews in the tasting room and cannot wait for the brewery and distribution center to open this month!!

It was pink and my mom couldn’t teach me to ride it. Eventually a relative was able to. And once I crashed into a tree and got a mild concussion…. 😉
My first bike was a steel blue skinny-tired 10-speed with a skinny seat. I had the first 10-speed bike on our block and everyone else had fat-tired bikes with fat seats. II had steel blue streamers coming off the end of each handlebar. I even was able to put on a panda bear decal, and I loved panda bears! Heaven on wheels!
I saved up my own money from selling old toys at my family’s garage sale and bought my first bike with that 🙂
I don’t remember much about my very first bike, but it was probably pink. The bike I do remember is the ten-speed bike I got for Christmas when I was 10! I just had flashbacks lol My first bike was as a fifth grader. I had a full size bike with no training wheels. I was scared to death but my father said I just had to get on it and ride it.
