May 2016 Serendipity by LLB Review
Serendipity by LLB is a sweet bi-monthly little subscription box that arrives the month in between each full size Little Lace Box. It does not always have a specific theme and at times seems a little quirky, “but that’s the true nature of serendipity.” You can expect 5 – 7 “great little finds” the company wants to share with you that for one reason or another just did not fit into the Little Lace Box. Some items might be sample size, some might be full size. The Serendipity boxes often sell out quickly – I was on the waiting list for 3 months before having the opportunity to subscribe!
Cost is $9.99 for each Serendipity box.
The Homespun Chics paid for this subscription box. All opinions are 100% our own. This post contains affiliate links.
The May 2016 Serendipity box contained a nice glossy product information booklet that gave information and pricing for the 5 items included in the box. You can purchase many of the items in this box on their website and shipping is free.
Alfresco Stemless Wine Glasses (2) ($7.99)
These wine glasses are the take-anywhere kind! No stems means clumsy people like me can keep them longer and you can pop them in a tote or picnic basket to take along. They are just the right size for a wine flight or for people who just sip a little. And they are glass. Yes.
Pack-n-Go Insulated Tote ($6.99)
This insulated tote is a great small (10X9 inches) size for the kind of things you need to keep warm or cold for outdoor gatherings or running your daily errands. You can use it for your lunch, too. Mine was lime green and black, but it also comes in red. It has a shoulder strap plus a handle, has net bottle holders on each side and an outside pocket in the front.
Annie B’s Popcorn – Jalapeno Cheddar 1.3 oz ($2)
This is a hot and spicy, gluten-free little snack bag of popcorn to toss into that tote along with the stemless wine glasses and head out to the park!
Laguna Salt Company – Tuscan Rosemary 1.5 oz ($6.95)
This is a flavorful all natural, non-gmo, and gluten free salt produced by a woman entrepreneur company out of Laguna Beach, CA. There are so many uses for this tasty salt!
“Its natural grains are infused with the fragrant flavors of fresh sage and rosemary, making each taste feel like a trip to the herb garden.”
Modish Polish Kim K. .5 oz ($12)
This pretty nail polish from California is also “5-free,” meaning it does not contain formaldehyde, toluene, DBP, formaldehyde resin or camphor. So no harmful chemicals included, just a guilt-free pretty polish for your nails. Mine is a pale pink, just perfect for the summer. Oh, and their polish is also cruelty-free and vegan friendly. Don’t you love it when you have healthy & safe choices for your beauty products?
Total value for the products in my May 2016 Serendipity by LLB box came to $35.93. Everything was great quality and there was quite a variety. My favorites were the stemless wine glasses (I had been thinking about buying some of those) and that pretty pink nail polish. Plus I’m already thinking about recipes for trying out the Tuscan Rosemary sea salt! The cost of the box was $9.99, so it was a wonderful value for the money. What did you think? Don’t forget you can purchase some of the contents on their website with free shipping!
I’d like to try the Laguna Salt Company – Tuscan Rosemary. Fun bunch of stuff.
