May 2016 Mini Monthly Mystery Box of Awesome
After last month’s mini mystery box (bag), I was really excited to see what was inside my package! This subscription is truly for someone who loves surprises and keeps an open mind about what they receive. You never know what you will receive, which is half the fun of getting the package!! The mini box is a perfect size package to get just a few surprises delivered every month without breaking the bank!
The Cost: $9.99 per month (incl. shipping)
This month’s MEGA BOX prize was a Fitbit and 11 people received one! Whoa! I am really impressed that the May 2016 Mini Monthly Mystery Box of Awesome gave so many Fitbits away and hope that everyone who received them enjoys their new activity trackers!
I just got the Fitbit Alta from mom as a belated birthday present and I absolutely love it. (As of this post, they’re on sale at Amazon for $116.95!!)
Anyway, I have totally become a huge fan of Fitbit and especially love their free app that syncs with the Fitbit. It helps track all of my health goals, including daily steps, fitness activities, water consumption, and calories to help me lose some weight and stay active! I love it!
Next month’s MEGA BOX prize is a Roku and at least 6 people will receive it! I love this extra special prize in the mini boxes. For only $9.99 per month, receiving the MEGA BOX prize would REALLY make the already-awesome mini subscription worthwhile! All of the prizes are distributed at random, so your odds are as good as any other subscriber’s!
Blue Avocado 6 Can Tube Cooler | $11.20
I have never ever seen a tube cooler before and was extremely confused when I opened it up… but then Jonathan came in the room, immediately called dibs, and walked back out of the room.
The tube cooler is insulated and folds up to fit in your backpack or bag when not in use. I have a suspicion Jonathan will be taking this with him to the lake for his good friend’s bachelor party next month… there will be plenty of fishing and beer drinking at the rented house boat.
The cooler measures 30″ long, when opened, and has a carrying strap to sling over your back. It also has a little zippered pocket to help carry your essentials. What a cool invention!
Sports Authority Green Shaker Bottle (20 oz) | $11.98
This is a pretty sturdy plastic shaker bottle that includes a matching plastic agitator to help mix up shakes better than a spoon ever could. There are markings on the side in both ounces and milliliters.
I do not drink protein shakes and neither does Jonathan, however his good friend (who’s having the bachelor party weekend) works out ALL the time and drinks protein shakes like nobody’s business SO… yup. This is going to the man about to get hitched!
Tzumi LockNest Multi Stand | $5.00
Well this looks interesting! This is a multi stand that holds your camera or phone so that you’re hands free! The little legs remind me of spider legs… *shudder* but this is an incredibly useful little gadget. I will be giving the multi stand to mom to use on her bike or to help her take more stable pictures using her phone! She is going to LOVE this!!
My Thoughts
May 2016 Mini Monthly Mystery Box of Awesome Total Value: $28.18
Just like last month, this subscription packed a punch with the overall value! I loved how everything I received this month is super functional and totally random. I’m thinking this is a great subscription to use for stocking up on presents for the Christmas and birthdays! Though I did not receive items that I would use personally, I am positive all of the recipients of these gifts will be totally excited to get these things and I will officially be their hero… for at least an hour or two. 🙂
I’m extremely happy with this box and cannot believe it only costs $9.99, which includes shipping! Crossing my fingers for the Roku next month!!! (Hey, a girl can dream, can’t she?)
xo

Cool box! I like the Sports Authority bottle!
This looks like a really fun box and I agree that you could use the items you can’t use for gifts. I love the chance of getting a really awesome item too.
I would put it towards a live rose bush I want. I can order on Amazon and use Prime too.
