Elmhurst – Milked Brown Rice 32 oz ($5.99)
This is a gluten free, lactose free, vegan beverage made from filtered water, brown rice, cane sugar, and salt with some natural flavors added. There are no added thickeners, emulsifiers, or stabilizers and each glass gives you 20 gms of whole grains. They use a cold milling process that keeps their milks creamy and more nutritious. I am not a vegan but I can see using this rice milk to make my morning smoothies!
Post – Great Grains Cereal in Coconut Almond Crunch 16 oz ($3.33)
This new flavor for Great Grains Cereal contains coconut, almonds, and crunchy flakes & clusters of whole grain wheat and oats. It has real sugar and no high fructose corn syrup, artificial flavors, or artificial colors.
Julian’s Recipe – Belgian Pastry Waffles ($2.50)
These are delicious individually wrapped Sweet Vanilla waffles that need no syrup – you can take them along with you to munch on your way out in the morning or just use them as a snack when you need something tasty and sweet! Or heat them up in your toaster oven for more crunch when you have a few minutes extra.
“Invented for the Prince of Liège in the 18th century, these Pastry Waffles (baked in Belgium!) feature a special kind of sugar called “pearl sugar.” Pearl sugar is hard, small and round like a pearl and resists melting in the high temperatures of the baking oven. Instead it caramelizes into a crispy, crunchy coating that is absolutely irresistible.”
7Days – Soft Croissant in Peanut Butter Creme & Chocolate ($1.49)
We have had these 7Days croissants in the past and just love them! You can take them with you on-the-go, have them with your coffee, or just anytime as a great snack. They have a delicious flaky pastry and the filling is rich and creamy. And they come in five different flavors – chocolate, peanut butter creme & chocolate, peanut butter creme & jelly, strawberry & vanilla, and vanilla.
BluePrint – Organic Energy Tea Guaya- Fiyah 14 oz ($2.49)
This is a ready-to-drink organic tea made with guayusa extract and lemon juice, then infused with superfoods turmeric and cayenne. Sweetened with organic maple syrup and no high fructose corn syrup or other bad stuff. Plus each bottle has 125 mg of natural caffeine to keep you going. And it is certified organic and kosher.
Loacker – Quadratini Espresso Wafer Cookies 7.76 oz ($3.99)
These tasty little wafer cookies are a favorite in my house! They are made in Italy and contain no artificial flavors or colors and no preservatives. The wafer cookie part is light, crisp and sweet and the filling is always just delicious! I love that these cookies come in a variety of flavors (dark chocolate, chocolate, hazelnut, vanilla, coconut, cappuccino, tiramisu, almond, lemon, blackcurrent, and expresso) and I have never found one that wasn’t just to die for!!
Oreo – Mint Chocolate Candy Bar 2.88 oz ($1.69)
How can you miss with milk chocolate covered mint creme filling containing Oreo pieces? If you haven’t tried this new flavor candy bar, now is the time! It was devoured the first night I opened my March 2018 Degustabox! Wowza!!
Homebrew – 3 Quick Pickle Mixes .92 oz each ($4.50)
These are 3 new flavors of pickle mixes – Spicy Pineapple, Pickled Red Onion, and Snappy Apple. With Homebrew mixes you can have the pickles you want in just 24 hours without all the time and mess of canning. You just need 2 cups of produce, a pint jar, and a packet of your mix of choice. My first jar of pickles will be the pineapple! They have a whole assortment of other flavors, including kimchi!
The retail value of the grocery products in my March 2018 Degustabox came to $25.98. You could never purchase all of this food at the store for a lower price anywhere! I love trying out new foods and new flavors of old favorites so I can’t wait to open my new Degustabox every month to see what new tasty treat I get to explore!
