March 2016 Pet Treater Theme:  You Lucky Dog!

This month’s letter is from Curly, who is providing Beeba with all the tips she needs to be the luckiest dog alive! I really love the endearing humor and cuteness overload here.

Lucky Dog bandanna – Value:  $5.00?

Oops, I forgot to snap a picture of the bandanna before tying it on Beijing! (But isn’t she the cutest?) Beeba is now dressed for the season with her green bandanna and the clover popping out of my planter behind her! Good news is she really doesn’t mind wearing it so I can keep it on her until she gets a bath! Woo!

Emmy’s Gourmet Canine Creations Dog Treats (2 ct) – Value:  $2.50

How adorable are these homemade dog cookies? Emmy’s nutritious-delicious treats are made with fresh, high quality ingredients from right next door in good ol’ Tennessee!

Carob Peanut Butter Crunch (Clover) – Beeba was a little apprehensive at first.. probably because it looks like a human cookie. She knows better! I’m thinking peanut butter is not her favorite though that didn’t stop her from eating the whole treat!

Three Cheese Pleasers (Lucky Dog Bone) – Yup. This is definitely more her speed! I am surprised I was able to capture this picture, honestly, since this is was the only moment that the cookie wasn’t completely in her mouth! I am thinking I need to order her an 8 ct. baggie of these for special treats! She love love LOVED this flavor!

Banana Seal 2 Pack (Medium) – Value:  $6.99

I am pretty darn excited to use these, but not for Beeba’s food! We keep our pet food in wheel-y plastic containers at our house. Mom stores her dry cat food in the (extremely large) bag it comes in, which is closed with a single delicate clothespin. Next time I cat-sit for her, I am completely revamping the way she seals her bags! Score!

Pur Luv Large Doggydent Dog Chews (24 oz) – Value:  $9.59

Beeba thinks she is being so sneaky in the background… This is one HUGE bag of doggy chews! I love that Pet Treater provides full size bags of treats in the box. Beijing liked the dental chew I gave her and I am glad to have such a large bag on hand! (Did you notice that even this treat bag is green?!)  🙂

These dog chews have a “best before” date of August 2016, so we certainly have some months to get through this bag before it’s too late. Like all Pet Treater-supplied snacks, these are safely made in the USA.

Kyjen Plush Puppies Hedgehogs Dog Toy – Value:  $12.91

This cutie was an instant hit with Little G and Beeba! He’s just so cute, how can you not love this guy? Plush toys are always great to receive in subscription boxes since they tend to be expensive to purchase on their own and they only last about 30 minutes with Beeba.

Beijing discovered that this large hedgehog GRUNTS. It actually frightened me at first! She absolutely loved this toy and it took her quite a while (half a day maybe?) to pull out enough stuffing to remove the squeaker and “kill it.”

FYD Microfiber Dish Cloths (4 pk) – Value:  $5.99?

This is the Pet Treater human treat this month! I am really digging the green theme this month! We can always use more dish cloths at our house between cleaning up after a toddler, six cats, and a dog… this is a total no brainer.

Happy Tails Tuff Dog Bone Toy (Green) – Value:  $6.99

I wish it weren’t so but Beeba is uninterested in tug toys. We are constantly trying to find a durable toy that she will actually use. So far we have had no luck. She likes what she likes, which is her cheap-o squeaker ball that has lasted her entire life and then plushies that she rips apart in minutes. Instead, this toy will go to two extremely happy border collie “brothers” of mine at mom’s house! They will love this thing!

Wags & Wiggles Polish Multipurpose Wipes – Value:  $4.90

This item was accidentally left out of my Pet Treater box which I didn’t even realize at the time. Two days later I received a small parcel with the wipes and this little note! I am so impressed with Pet Treater’s customer care. I honestly would have never realized I was missing anything in the box since it was packed to the brim like always. I love that Pet Treater followed up immediately and sent the missing item. TWO THUMBS UP!

These wipes are supposed to neutralize bad odors and help give your pooch a quick spot clean. Beijing is part basset hound and I do not believe any type of cleaner would rid her of the stink that seemingly comes built-in.. however I’m excited to try these out! They’re supposed to have a raspberry fragrance so we’ll see if it effectively “neutralizes” vs. “coats” the basset smell.

March 2016 Pet Treater Total Value:  $54.87

Beijing and I really loved this month’s box! The St. Patrick’s Day theme was consistent through the whole box and we received a TON of stuff that we have already begun using or will use, not to mention two great items I am gifting to my mom’s fuzzy critters! There is always more than enough to share and the total value is amazing for a $24.99 box!

Beeba loved the gourmet doggie treats (especially the cheesy one!) and obsessed over the hedgehog until it was no more. It is cool to see how excited she gets when a Pet Treater box arrives at the door! Case in point, everybody is happy when receiving a monthly surprise box!
