We have been busy with our spring planting and I am pleased to say that all of my early flowers are blooming! Buckaroo Organics Soapberry Suds Laundry Detergent – Value:  $9.95

We tested out this organic detergent tonight while washing Beijing’s doggy comforter for her crate. I am thrilled to have such a gentle detergent to use on all of our clothes, bed sheets, and towels. This was a huge win for our house! It doesn’t really smell like much and Beijing’s comforter came out soft and super clean. (The wet-dog smell is gone!)

Instead of using a synthetic surfactant or soaping agent, our detergent contains 100%  Certified Organic Soapberries, also known as soapnuts. I have two bags I purchased from our local EarthFare that we use every time we go shopping and have been contemplating picking up another. Like with most beauty products, I am quite wary of what I put on my face since I have naturally oily, acne-prone skin. I have used facial masks before and while I really like the way they feel, I find that most tend to over-hydrate my skin, if that’s even possible, after which I end up fighting off breakouts. I have never used a dry powder mask before, so I decided once again to put my faith in Kloverbox and give it a whirl tonight.

And I am so, so very glad I did! I took about a teaspoon of the powder and mixed it with a small amount of water in the palm of my hand. Once applied, the mask dried fairly quickly on my face and I could feel my skin slowly tightening and tingling. It smelled lightly of lavender and natural clay, which was very pleasant. I washed it away with warm water and applied a light layer of moisturizer on my face. My skin still feels so smooth and my minor blemishes practically disappeared! So this is love…

What an adorable little candle tin! Jonathan and I love candles and are always burning through our stash pile at the house. This is a great little candle that would probably work best in a bathroom or office… but we will most likely use this tiny candle in our open living room, despite us having an open floor plan. It smells so good! Sometimes I wish our blog was scratch-n-sniff…

I feel like I say this every month but… I LOVE Kloverbox! This is my new favorite Kloverbox with four outstanding items that are perfect for my family. Beijing is loving her fresh, clean bed thanks to the Soapberry Suds (she’s snoring currently). Little G has been carrying around the reusable shopping bag saying, “it’s so cute, mommy!” and Jonathan has called dibs on the candle. My favorite item in the box is the Vana Body coconut clay mask. I just love finding new beauty products that actually work to help my skin!
