March 2016 Glossybox Review + Coupon!
Glossybox is an online monthly beauty subscription box that sends you 5 travel size (sometimes full size!) beauty products each month from well known luxury brands and up-and-coming niche brands. You get to try out the best brands and new makeup products for a fraction of the full size cost. They also send the best hair products and skin care products for women. You can subscribe to Glossybox for $21 each month with free shipping within the USA and receive your five great beauty products to enjoy. They also have a 6 month plan (same price as the monthly plan) and a 12 month plan. The 12 month plan brings the cost down to $18.50 per month.
The Homespun Chics paid for this subscription box. All opinions are 100% our own.
I look forward to receiving my Glossybox every month! So many times I have found treasures that I never knew existed and that have become my favorite go-to skin and beauty products!
The March 2016 Glossybox contained three cosmetic items and two skin care items. I like that the box always includes a foldout product description/price card to let you know just what they curated for the current month’s box. The card also gives you tips on using your new products. I love the attention to detail that this shows in a subscription box!
I Love…Cosmetics Super Soft Hand Lotion in Coconut & Cream Full Size 2.5 oz ($6)
This hand lotion smells so good –like cream with just a hint of coconut. You can use it to hydrate your skin and also to highlight your cheeks, shave your legs or to remove eye makeup! It has coconut oil as an essential ingredient, so while you are enjoying soft, smooth skin you can daydream about summer breezes and palm trees!
Vine Vera Resveratrol Merlot Moisture Day Cream sample size (Full Size 1.83 oz $146)
This is a very expensive day cream that uses resveratrol as its active ingredient as an antioxidant for reducing inflammation and protecting skin against outdoor damage. The resveratrol is found in the skins of grapes and red wine, hence the name. The box contained two jars with a small amount of the cream in each one. It is thick and you have to use quite a lot (by comparison to other day creams I have used) to cover your face and neck.
Luxie Beauty Rose Gold Large Angled Face Brush Full Size ($16)
This is a beautiful pink handled brush with very soft bristles has an angled shape to fit the contours of your face. It has antibacterial synthetic bristles that are cruelty-free, paragon-free and coated with antibacterial solution. You can use it with your highlighter, illuminator, bronzer or blush.
Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick in Chihuahua Full Size .4 oz ($21)
This is a liquid lipstick in a light mauve-ish color that goes on with a velvety precision tip that makes liner unnecessary. A little goes a long way, so just apply a drop. It has glossy shine and intense color, plus lasts like a stain. And it’s vegan-friendly.
Eyeko Eye Do Liquid Eyeliner Full Size .04 oz ($19)
This is a single stroke carbon black waterproof eyeliner with a precision tip to create the perfect line. It helps eyelashes appear longer, fuller and stronger. Plus it glides on over eye shadow and accentuates your eyes. I am not a user of black eyeliner but this one looks like you could put a very thin line just at the lash line for enhancement.
The March 2016 Glossybox was a wonderful value for the cost of the box! I had to guess at the Vine Vera (? $20, at least) so the value of the box contents by my calculations comes in at $82. Four of the five products were full size this month!
What did you think of the March 2016 Glossybox? This is such a great beauty subscription box – you know you want one!! Who doesn’t love getting a box of beauty products every month? To get a free gift with your first purchase use code GLOSSYLIP at checkout!
I got some Melted lipsticks in one of Too Faced’s holiday kits, and I’m really enjoying them! Chihuahua looks like a lovely color!
I just tried to use the code, and they said they had exceeded their limit on this code. Bummer! I shouldn’t have been so slow. 🙁
I love Glossybox (won one before); however, it is not in my budget right now. Thank you for sharing.
