I have always loved soaps the same way some women love shoes. This is fortunate for my husband, and good for me as well as you can have a lot more soaps than shoes most years! So I was very excited to receive the small March 2016 Clean Bar Box, containing 4 half bars of good smelling soap. Each bar was packaged in a drawstring muslin pouch and full of springtime scents!
Spring Scrub is a blue soap with a cool, slightly zesty scent. It reminds me of a good shower soap that makes you feel all clean after you get dried off. And it is heading immediately to my shower!
English Garden is appropriately named! It is a very cool looking swirly green and smells like garden flowers all mixed together. I might put this one in my underwear drawer for a while and use it as a lovely potpourri to waft up to my face whenever I open the drawer!
Berry Blitz smells like a mix of berries but it is not my favorite soap in the box. The smell is a bit off the mark and the color is tan/brown. But I know I will enjoy it when I start using it, so not a problem! One of them has to be my least favorite, right?
Green Tea Verbena really does smell like green tea and it is, appropriately, green. This soap has lots of sea salt in the mix for great exfoliation.
As I said previously, I love soaps! And I really did love my March 2016 Clean Bar Box! Their good smelling soaps are healthy for me and for the environment. I think $4.25 each is a fair price to pay for artisanal, hand made soaps so the March 2106 Clean Bar box was spot-on for both value and soapy luxury!
Have you tried the soaps from March 2016 Clean Bar Box? What was your favorite one?

These soaps sound lovely!! I make soap myself, but I would still love to try these!
What a cool box! I love trying new soaps 🙂
I am not a bar soap person. Just give me some Dr. Bronner’s Fair Trade & Organic Shikakai Hand & Body Pump Soap – (Lemongrass Lime, 12 oz)
I think this would be a great box for me. I love handmade luxury soaps.
Ooh the green tea one sounds amazing!! I love freshly hand made soap!! What a great box!
I would love to try these different soaps. They sound refreshing! 🙂
