Make a Halloween Candy Basket to BOO It Forward!
Let’s Do Some Friendly Neighborhood BOO’ing! Halloween has always been a fun holiday for my family. This year my daughter has moved to a new house and will be expecting her first trick or treaters, so I decided to surprise her with a BOO Kit – a candy basket full of Halloween goodies so she could BOO It Forward!

I started my BOO Kit with a trip to Walmart, where I purchased the 400 piece MARS® Spider-Man Chocolate/Sugar Variety Bag. This product is only available at Walmart.
Get the Spider-Man Homecoming DVD & Blu-Ray on October 17th at Walmart.
The day before putting my BOO Kit together, I painted my basket with a flat green spray paint.
Let’s make our Halloween Candy Basket BOO Kit!
Supplies:
- Green basket
- Halloween fabric
- 3/4″ loop trim black ribbon
- Black & white foam sheets
- Purple glitter glue
- Assorted size wiggle eyes
- Glitter spiders
- Black, white, & purple raffia paper strips
- Glue gun & glue sticks
- Scissors
Directions:
Line the inside of the basket with Halloween fabric using hot glue; fold over the fabric around the top of the basket and glue all the way around.
Glue the 3/4″ loop trim black ribbon around the outside top of the basket.
Use the black foam sheet to cut out the mouth in a half-moon shape. Cut out individual teeth from the white foam sheet and then glue the teeth to the mouth. Once completed, glue the finished mouth to the lower section of the basket.
Cut out a nose from the black foam sheet and cover it lightly with the purple glitter glue. Set this aside to dry.
Glue assorted size wiggle eyes above mouth the on the upper half of the basket. I placed the two largest wiggle eyes first and glued the smaller ones in random spots around the pair.
Attach the glitter spiders randomly to the loop trim black ribbon “hair” with glue.
Once the nose is dry, glue it to the middle of the basket between the mouth and eyes. I used a small wiggle eye as an upper base and the center basket stay as the lower base so the nose lays flat.
Fill the basket with candy!!
Tuck colorful raffia paper around the top edge of the basket all the way around.
Add any extra ornaments you have on hand into the basket and you are finished with your Halloween Candy Basket BOO Kit! Don’t forget your BOO card!
My daughter will be so excited to receive her Halloween Candy Basket BOO Kit! I included these cute American Greetings products that she can use on her turn BOO It Forward. Do you have a special someone to BOO It Forward to this Halloween?
That is super cute. Love it!
