This is a review of the June 2017 MunchPak Original box.
First peek! Nothing broken or smashed which is always a great start to a box review! There is no product information card but the box does contain a postcard signed by the person who packed the box.
Cajillions Blue Raspberry – 1.9 oz (China) $2.00
These tiny, tasty, chewy candies have a candy coating. They also come in different flavors – Strawberry, Green Apple, & Watermelon – each of would be extremely delicious as well! Blue Raspberry is one of my favorite flavors so I’m glad this is the one I received!
Mentos – Popins Fruit Flavor 1.76 oz (Netherlands) $3.00
This is a bag of chewy fruit flavored candy pieces in an assortment of flavors – apple, blueberry, lemon & orange.
Ding Dong – Mixed Nuts Hot & Spicy 3.53 oz (Phillipines) $3.00
This is a bag of mixed greaseless peanuts, green peas, corn chips & curls, and broad (fava) beans in a spicy powder.
Crown Nut Co. – Sriracha Flavored Almonds 1.5 oz (USA) $2.00
These almonds are 100% all natural, vegan and California grown. They are flavored with non-GMO oil and natural ingredients. Each pack has 100 calories and 9 grams of protein.
Tohato – Caramel Corn ?1 oz (Japan) $3.00
A sweet and crunchy chip textured corn snack & peanut with a caramel popcorn flavor. All of the writing except the company name and the snack name is in Japanese so I can’t read the ingredients or the weight of the product.
Glico – Pretz Pizza Flavor 1.09 oz (Thailand) $3.00
These are crunchy, savory tomato-flavored baked pretzel snack sticks.
Lotte – Koala’s March 1.45 oz (S. Korea) $2.00
These are koala shaped thin chocolate cookies with chocolate cream filling. My daughter always loved these when she was little!
Tregroes – Butter Toffee Waffles 6.5 gms (UK) ?$2.00
This is a package of 2 waffles made by a small family-run business in Wales. They are made with no artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives and are filled with creamy Welsh toffee.
Trolli – Sour Brite Sloths 4.25 oz (US) $4.00
These are sour, chewy gummy candies that all kids seem to love! These are sloth shaped and hang together like monkeys, so kids will love playing with them as they eat them.
Morinaga – Hi-Chew Suppai Chew Lemon Flavor 1.94 oz (Japan) $4.00
These are sweet & sour lemon flavored toffy candy chews. Most of the writing on the package is in Japanese.
Ramblin’ – Butterscotch Root Beer 12 oz (US) $2.25
This is a classically made butterscotch flavored root beer with real sugar and natural flavors. It is caffeine free and comes in a glass bottle.
This was my first MunchPak and I really liked the variety of snacks they sent. I had a good mix of sweet and salty, chips, nuts, and candy from all over the world. The retail value of the snacks in the June 2017 MunchPak came to $30.35, a good value for the cost of the subscription box. I found some of their prices a bit high for individual snacks but not by too much.
If you like getting an assortment of snacks in your mailbox every month, give MunchPak a try! It is a really different snacking experience than just grabbing a handful of goodies at your local convenience store!
I alsways like boxes like this. Trying new things is a whole lot of fun. Several of the items OK most, I have never seen before!
The Ding Dong’s look yummy! I love food boxes 🙂
We are always running out of snacks. The Munchpak Mini subscription would work well for us.
this looks so fun. I love snacks and this is such a great way to try fun new ones each month
