We are running late with our boxes 🙁 so I am just now doing the June 2016 Pet Treater Box. It was a great box for us! The box was sent to Sarah’s Beijing as usual but my border collies, Jed and Rocket, will be the treat and toy testers this month! They said they don’t mind! Plus they fit the size range just fine.

The theme for the June 2016 Pet Treater Box was Unleashed!
Footloose and Fancy Free
Jed and Rocket said they could be totally into this month’s theme! And I LOVED the saying on the inside lid of the box: “Live Like Somebody Left The Gate OPEN!” That’s what we try to do around here!
There were all kinds of goodies in the June 2016 Pet Treater Box! Let’s start with the edible kind…
Red Barn Naturals Sweet Potato Fries 16 oz ($13.49)
All natural sweet potato fries, made from sweet potatoes and nothing else. And made in the USA. This is a big bag of good-sized treats, with no chicken added so Rocket (who has a chicken allergy) can enjoy them. Both dogs snapped these right up and wanted more.
Wholelife Tail Mix Real Food Dog Treats with Carrots & Apples 2 oz ($9.95)
This company makes their treats with the same quality standards as human food and everything is USA sourced and made in-house. They never include preservatives, grains, or anything artificial. These treats are made with chicken (sorry, Rocket!), potato, water, apple, carrot, flax seed and sea salt. Jed says he’d like to try one more. And one more…
Multipet Dog Toy Frontier Hat – Large ($10.82)
This toy. OMG THIS TOY! I was not able to get a unique photo of it before Rocket had it and then we spent the afternoon trying to get it away from him to get the rest of the pictures. Have a treat? NO! I want the toy.
I have to say it was an unqualified success and he spent the afternoon with it without tearing it to pieces. He never even noticed that it has a squeaker in the tail.
This is a tug toy made of “rugged nylon canvas” with a rubber chewing end attached. It is supposed to withstand hours of vigorous play and I think it will. However, I doubt it will withstand Rocket’s chewing so he will have to play with it only with us and not be left alone to gut the stuffing out of it.
Dogs Unleashed Absorbent Pet Bowl Placemat 13 X 20” ($6.99)
This is a great little bone shaped pet bowl mat made of absorbent viscose. It soaks up and contains spills and keeps the wetness off your floors. The mat has a skid resistant backing that keeps it and the pet bowls in place, PLUS it is machine washable. Pardon my use of a kitty bowl but it does give you the idea of size. This is definitely going to be used around here on my hardwood kitchen floor.
Cobble Creek Pet Backseat Car Cover ($8.98)
This is absolutely what we needed! We are always traveling with our dogs and the Army blankets we use on the back seats never stay put! This is a goodly sized cover made of polyester laminated with vinyl, not slick but rough enough to stay put, plus it has a strap to go over each rear seat headrest to hold it in place. And it is machine washable. This baby is going to be put to the test this fall when we head out west with the boys in the back seat of the truck!
Kikkerland Talking Key Ring Mustache ($3.36)
This is a mustache shaped key ring (Pet Treater for your Human) that is supposed to speak for itself when you push a button. Our key ring is the silent type, however. Maybe when it gets to know us a bit better.
The price of the items in the June 2016 Pet Treater Box came to a little over $59 and that is a great value for the cost of the box! I loved the variety that was curated for the June theme and everything was useful, either for the dogs or for us humans.
MINE!
Wow, I think this box was a hit in your house. Rocket sure liked the Frontier Hat.
What a great box! So many cute items! Bet they loved the sweet potato treats!
I love this! What a really fun box and great review.
