The Monthly Mystery Box of Awesome is a fun gender-neutral subscription box from That Daily Deal. Each box is filled with a variety of random practical and silly items at an extreme value. Boxes vary greatly month to month. Every month ThatDailyDeal.com does a promotion where one (or more) people receive SUPER boxes that include a high-ticket item. (Previous super boxes included an inflatable hot tub, a hoverboard, a 70″ curved TV, years worth of bacon, a 3D printer, etc.)

The June 2016 Monthly Mystery Box of Awesome was a HUGE box filled with quite a variety of goodies! We didn’t receive the Amazon Echo in our box, but 6 subscribers did! However, we did get a lot of good stuff. There is no product information card with this subscription box, but each item inside was pretty much self-explanatory.

Circleware Honey Bee Embossed Milk Bottle Set (?$10)

How cute is this?! This is a box with 6 (10 oz) glass milk bottles for your summer drinks, each one embossed with a beehive design and then there are 6 reusable red and white straws just to make this set even cuter! How fun to drink your summer lemonade out of one of these! Or you could use a few as vases for your summer flowers out of the garden!

Otterbottle Stainless Steel 750 ml Water Bottle ($16.99)

We use the heck out of these stainless water bottles, especially in this hot summer. No need for bottled water – and I know I am drinking my own sweet mountain water from my house.

Curl –A-Dog Spiral Hot Dog Slicer ($4.95)

This will make you look like you just got off Pinterest for recipe ideas! The set includes a large and regular size hot dog slicer plus, just to let you know that this is serious stuff, a recipe book! I hate to admit it but I LOVE hot dogs! Little G will love trying this out!

Reese’s Pieces Peanut Butter Eggs 12 oz ($2.98)

Who doesn’t love Reese’s Pieces? Apparently left over from Easter, these are still tasty peanut butter candies in a crunchy shell. And they will disappear fast around here!

This is a wrap for your audio/video cables to keep them neat and manageable. The braided fabric is completely flexible and you can cut it to any length you need. Don’t settle for messy wires when you can take control, especially if you have small children or pets who might get tangled up in them and pull the whole set-up down on their heads.

These will go in the RV – never enough room for things and you really can’t poke too many holes in the walls.

This bamboo lumbar pillow retains its shape, provides back support and comfort and is made from hypoallergenic eco-friendly bamboo material . The zipper cover is removable so you can was it – and the whole thing is machine washable and dryer safe. Did I mention we have a trip coming up soon?

The cost of the products in the June 2016 Monthly Mystery Box of Awesome came to a little over $70, kind of a soft estimate since the prices for some of these items are all over the place online. At any rate, their value is WAY over the price of the box. It was all really eclectic stuff and between our two very different Homespun Chics households we were able to absorb it all for lots of different uses.
