Sergeant’s Pet Care – Pur Luv Healthy Support Large Dental Sticks 16 oz ?($7.99)
These dental sticks are made from a blend of rice, chicken and flax seed plus other things to make them into sticks. They help with dental care with an abrasive action to help reduce plaque and tartar build-up. The mini ones are the size available now but these are still good with a 10/18 expiration date. However, I don’t give them to my dogs as they were the subject of a lawsuit alleging that they are indigestible and several dogs required surgery after eating them. At least one dog died. Not taking the chance.
Bowser Beer – Cock-a-Doodle Brew 12 oz ($9.99)
This non-alcoholic drink for dogs is chicken flavored and salt and fat free. Plus it contains nutritious malt barley and glucosamine for joint health. A great flavor add-on for a same-old same-old kibble diet!
Exclusively Dog Cookies – Best Buddy Bits Cheese Flavor (sample packet)
These are small, crunchy dog treats that taste like cheese. Good for training and made with all natural ingredients.
Exclusively Dog – Fido’s Food Truck Baked Cheesy Bacon Bones 3 oz ($2.96)
These are small bone shaped treats in a cute food truck box. They are made with natural ingredients and are wheat, corn, gluten, soy, & grain free.
Emmy’s Gourmet Canine Creations Dog Treat – Value: $2.50
Emmy’s nutritious-delicious treats are made with fresh, high quality ingredients from right next door in Tennessee. Each Pet Treater box has these cute dog treats that correspond to the month or time of year.
Bow Wow Pet – Cool Penguin Dog Toy ($15.99)
This is a plush crinkle & squeak dog toy designed for light to moderate chewers. That lets out my boys but my newest granddog Waffles LOVES it!
PetProjekt – Dogbal ($16.37)
This is a heavy rubber ball with ridges so you can spread some peanut butter or other treat inside to keep your dog interested in it. My boys are into catching balls and are heavy chewers, so this toy is perfect for them.
GNC Pets – Insect Repellent Wipes ($5.99)
This is a 50 ct. tube of wipes that are infused with natural citronella oil and contain no harsh chemicals. Citronella oil is only proven to repel mosquitoes and, according to the ASPCA, can be toxic to dogs. The amount in a collar should be OK, but if wiped all over a dog and he licks it off – I’m just not sure about that. I would check with my vet before use.
The retail value of the products in the July Pet Treater box came to approx. $61. It was a really full box of dog stuff and, other than the dental sticks and the insect repellent wipes, was highly approved by me and my family dogs!
