 The July 2018 Degustabox information sheet is a full page glossy with photos, descriptions of each product in the box, and includes an accurate price for each item. 

The back side of the product information sheet has a recipe for Sweet N’ Spicy Bison Balls using Uncle Dougie’s Barbecue Sauce.

Uncle Dougie’s Sweet N’ Snappy Small Batch Barbecue Sauce 18 oz ($5.99)

Uncle Dougie’s sauces come with the company’s No Crap Commitment. Their sauces contain no artificial anything and are small batch made. This flavor is an American Royal World Series of Barbecue winner with “a tiny bit of sweet, a touch of smoky and a little “Snappy” zing.”

Lee Kum Kee – Plum Sauce 9.2 oz ($3.98)

Plum sauce is such a staple in Asian cuisine and is great for dips, bastes, glazes, and so much more. We always keep a jar of plum sauce in our refrigerator. This plum sauce comes in a nice size jar – not too much, just enough – and there is a bonus recipe for Plum Glazed Chicken Wings on the back, too!

Sir Kensington’s – Chipotle Mayonnaise 12 oz ($4.99)

I have been loving the expansion of our basic condiments into more adventurous flavors for the past few years and this Chipotle Mayonnaise is one of those delicious changes to our basic mayo. The taste is a smoky combination of chipotle peppers in adobo flavored with cumin, garlic, and tomato – perfect to go with fish tacos, on sushi, and whatever sounds good to you! And it is made with free-range eggs, too.

Aiya – Matcha Zen Cafe Blend 6.35 oz ($17.80)

This is a blend of Matcha granite-ground green tea and cane sugar in packets for making single serving smoothies and lattes. The box contains 12 packets and there are recipes for making Matcha smoothies, lattes, and lemonade on the box.

Chomps – Free Range Turkey Snack Stick 1.15 oz ($1.99)

These are individual serving packages of cookies with 3 cocoa wafers and 2 layers of milk cream filling. Loacker makes the most tasty wafer cookies ever!

The retail value of the products in the July 2018 Degustabox came to $41.81. The only thing in the box that I would not have purchased on my own was the Matcha tea, so this is a good month to try to a new product that is a bit outside my comfort zone! I have found so many brands – or new products of familiar brands – in my monthly Degustabox that I had never seen or tried before. And quite a few have become new favorites for me and my family!
