The July 2016 Daisy Care Treats Only box contained 5 different treats. I did not choose boxes with toys as my boys chew through most toys in about 5 minutes. All of the treats were made in the USA except for the beef trachea. None of the treats contained any chicken so Rocket gets to have his share of everything from the July 2016 Daisy Care box! They do not include a monthly product information card.
Paws Barkery – Bowwow Snicker Doodles Honey and Cinnamon Dog Treats 8 oz $6.99
“If you wouldn’t find it in your pantry, you won’t find it here!”
These dog biscuit treats are made in Philadelphia and contain all natural ingredients. They contain no corn, soy, artificial colors or flavor and no preservatives. They break easily into bite sized training treats.
Polkadog Treats – Wonder Nuggets with Beef Liver 8 oz $12.99
These are little bite sized soft nuggets made with rolled oats, barley flour, dried apples and beef liver. Great for training treats! Plus they have glucosamine and chondroitin for aging joint support.
Puppy Scoops – Ice Cream for Dogs Peanut Butter flavored 6 oz $6.99
Just add water and freeze for a cool summer dog treat. This ice cream is formulated for a dog’s digestion with the main ingredients of lactose free whole milk and peanuts. This would be a fun thing on a summer day!
Barkworthies – Beef Trachea 6” $4.99
This comes from Turkey (the country, not the bird!) and I will have the hubby cut it in half on his band saw so each of the boys can have their share. It has no preservatives and no fillers. And it’s made from grass fed, free range cattle.
It’s SO GOOD, Mom!
Petchup – Muttstard Condiment Sauce for Dogs 16 oz $14.21
What a cute concept and name! This is a salmon flavored sauce with Omega 3, 6, & 9, glucosamine, & prebiotic to pour over dry kibble, drip into a water bowl to increase hydration or even freeze to offer a cold treat on a hot day. It has salmon oil, dried tomato, beef broth, dried yeast, dried bell pepper, and vitamins/minerals. Jed and Rocket LOVED it! They are not picky eaters at all (quite the opposite!) but they enjoy a tasty treat in their kibble just like anyone would!
The dollar cost of the doggie treats in the July 2016 Daisy Care box came to $46.17, so not a steal but a good value for the cost of the box. I really like all the different treats that Daisy Care finds to put in their boxes. I have had dogs for a long time and still they manage to find new products that I have never seen before! And of course the boys just LOVE getting their box every month! WIN-WIN!
Oooh I will have to recommend this box to my doggy moms!! I bet their furry buddies would just adore it!! Such a fun gift idea or even a great way to change up the norm!!
I have to laugh at the name muttstard. Makes me wish I had a dog.
The Puppy Scoops – Ice Cream is neat! Lots of good treats in this one.
