January Pet Treater Box for Medium Dog (21 – 50 lb)
It has now become evident that Beijing knows when a Pet Treater box arrives at the door. She can smell that it’s her very own package and is eager to open it up and investigate (knowing full well that she will be getting new treats). As always, the January Pet Treater box was packed to the brim with fun toys and plenty of delicious treats to last the whole month!
How It Works:

*Enter this code at check-out to receive a FREE pet bed with your first subscription box! The bed size depends on the size of the dog you selected for your plan. If you set up multiple plans for your household, you’ll receive a FREE pet bed with every plan!
Pet Treater started including an adorable sticker on the underside of the brightly-colored box lid which I think adds a great personal touch! This month’s sticker reads, “Life is short. Play with your dog.”
Beijing’s letter is from Cincy, the french bulldog at Pet Treater. This month is all about gearing up for the Puppy Bowl! As an added postscript, Cincy gives a big thanks for helping Pet Treater donate blankets, beds, and toys to local shelter animals with every Pet Treater box purchase! 🙂 Yay!
Pet Chef No Guilt Treats (Right Size Rover) 3 oz. – Value: $7.50
These No Guilt Treats were such a big hit with Beeba! The treats are a perfect size for any occasion, dry for easy handling, and are made with only four ingredients: ground chicken, cucumber, radish, and kale. As with all Pet Treater snacks, these are safely made in the USA (other safe choice is Canada). The “best before” date of 12/01/16.
It was really difficult to get an action shot of treat time, but I did my best. Needless to say, Beeba absolutely LOVED these delicious snacks!
Unique Pets Treat Launcher (Pink) – Value: $15.99
Little G could not WAIT to try this baby out, so while Jonathan was wrestling with the packaging, I began tearing the Pet Chef treats into smaller pieces to stick inside! This is so silly, but I am glad that we received a pink one, since Beeba isn’t the most effeminate looking pup ever and it’s always a gentle way to remind people that she’s a she.
ANYWAY, this is a really cool concept and we had a ton of fun failing to get it to launch correctly. (Apparently two-year olds aren’t the best launchers.) We will figure out how to launch treats over ten feet out, as advertised… I am determined that it will happen. (Any suggestions welcome.)
Nylabone Fun ‘N’ Fit Vanilla Infused Chew Toy (Large) – Value: $9.99
I have been a fan of Nylabone chew toys for years. They’re rugged, durable, and bounce really well without marking up the walls or causing damage! Beeba tends to lead with her stomach, so this toy can entertain her for a half hour or better when we put a smear of peanut butter in the teeth of the toy! Plus, she’s really cute licking peanut butter from the roof of her mouth.
Exclusively Dog Jerkeez Treats (Pizza) 7 oz. – Value: $5.07 / ea.
We received TWO bags of these treats! I had to laugh at the pizza flavor since Beeba goes crazy in the kitchen every time we make pizza at home! Since we had two bags, Beeba kindly gave one to her uncles (mom’s dogs) and kept one for special rewards at home. Pet Treater included a cute football sticker on the bags that says, “What’s the big game without pizza?” These treats are made in the USA with a “best by” date of 12/11/16.
Market Day Salad To Go Cup – Value: $5.00
I absolutely love receiving a little “human” treat in each month’s box! This is a fun, unique feature that separates Pet Treater from its competitors.
I am so excited to use this salad cup! I used to have a similar cup back in college and LOVED the ease and portability of this container. In addition to using it for salad, I also used it for fruit cups and put yogurt in the little top container! (Yum!) I am eager to start using it to take to work. It’s a great food storage system and fits perfectly upright in a standard lunch box.
Added bonus: the salad cup comes with a pretty simple, yet delicious-looking recipe!
MultiPet Mr. Bill Plush Dog Toy – Value: $6.99
This toy says “Oh Noooooo!!!” in a high-pitched wail when the button is hit. I saw that Mr. Bill had a TON of great reviews on Amazon (over 1200!) so I figured Beeba would enjoy destroying this guy even better than the last hundred stuffed toys we’ve given her over the years. I wish I had a video of her reaction! She grabbed him up and started to carry him off when he yelled out his signature line. Beijing stopped in her tracks, immediately dropping him and running in the other direction! I don’t think she approved of our snickering; she is avoiding him at all costs now. We will be giving this to her doggie aunts and uncles over at Jonathan’s parents’ house. 😉
Nerf Dog Infinity Tuff Tug Football (Red) – Value: $9.42
As soon as I saw this, I knew we had to give this to mom’s border collies! Beeba is all about treats, stuffed animals, and her one squeaky ball that she has loved since adoption. Mom’s dogs are tough on toys and really need something durable for playing together. I mean, c’mon… even the picture on the packaging shows a border collie pup! It was destiny.
Rocket (left) and Jed (right) had such a great time playing with this toy! I brought it down to St. Pete, FL last weekend during a quick visit to be with my brother and parents. This Nerf football definitely got them in the mood for the Puppy Bowl!
The boys tugged, pulled, chased, and chewed to their hearts’ content and the toy held up perfectly! Mom kept the toy at the Florida house for when they come back. This is a huge win for the boys!
Our Thoughts
January Pet Treater Box Total Value: $65.03!!
Pet Treater has consistently wowed us with the overall quality, selection, and value contained within each month’s boxes. We had so much fun with everything in our January Pet Treater box (except maybe the Mr. Bill doll). I am so glad we were able to share the bounty with our family and have plenty to use and play with at our house!
With the value more than doubling the cost of a month-to-month box, Pet Treater boxes rank as one of the best, if not the best, dog subscription boxes on the market.
Starting at $24.99 for monthly billing, you can’t go wrong giving this box a shot! Don’t forget, if you want to grab a FREE pet bed with your first month, click this link and enter the coupon CHICS-BED at check-out! You’ll also get the bonus “Flash Sale”* item added to your first box as well!!!

Awesome subscription box! We get a different pet gift box delivered each month and we love it too. It’s a little less money, but this one looks like it has much more in it. The free pet bed is pretty awesome too.
There are really fun items in this box and my dog would love the play toy and of course the snacks. How nice to get a pet box delivered each month.
Makes me wish I still had a pet to spoil with this.
