January 2017 Serendipity Box Review
Serendipity by LLB is a sweet bi-monthly little subscription box that arrives the month in between each full size Little Lace Box. It does not have a specific theme and at times seems a little quirky, “but that’s the true nature of serendipity.” You can expect 5 – 7 “great little finds” the company wants to share with you that for one reason or another just did not fit into the Little Lace Box. Some items might be sample size, some might be full size. The Serendipity boxes often sell out quickly – last year I was on the waiting list for 3 months before having the opportunity to subscribe but they appear to be more available now.
Cost is $12.99 for each Serendipity box.
The Homespun Chics paid for this subscription box. All opinions are 100% our own. This post contains affiliate links.
The January 2017 Serendipity box contained a nice glossy product information booklet that gave information and pricing for the 4 items included in the box. You can purchase many of the items in this box on their website and shipping is free. Plus they keep lots of very cool items from past boxes in stock and again, shipping is free!
Modgy – Expandable Vase $8.99
This is a BPA-Free 10″ X 6″ expandable vase. You just add water and it expands, then you can pour out the water, dry it out, and put it flat in your drawer. It won’t break, it doesn’t take up room, and it comes in all kinds of pretty colors and modern graphic designs.
Doxen & Hue – Watermint Face Wash 6 oz ($6)
This is a microdelivery exfoliating face wash that contains tiny exfoliating beads to make your skin’s texture softer and smoother, plus Peppermint oil compound to refresh and brighten. It is for all skin types. You can see the little beads in my hand in the photo above. This face wash smells great and made my skin feel soft. Some subscribers received the Pink Grapefruit version in their January boxes. Either would have been fine with me!
Beekman 1802 Jasmine & Heirloom Rose Hand Wash 12.5 oz ($19.99)
I’ll start by stating up front that I LOVE roses and their scent. This hand wash could do all kinds of wrong and I would still love it because it smells heavenly! It contains rose hip seed oil to restore elasticity to your skin, something I definitely could use more of! Plus this stuff is enriched with goat milk so it is gentle on your skin. While this soap lasts I will have the cleanest hands on the block.
Xtenex – Accufit Laces ($9.99)
These are 36″ brown calibrated no-tie shoe laces, originally designed for kids whose laces keep coming undone and now are used by professional athletes. They come in lots of pretty colors and actually expand as your feet swell over the course of the day.
Total value for the products in my January 2017 Serendipity by LLB box came to $44.97. Each item was of the high quality that I have come to expect from Little Lace Box. This is such a fun little inexpensive sub box and is like opening a little birthday gift every other month!
You can subscribe HERE for $12.99 every other month!
