First peek! Sometimes I am tempted to taste some of these doggie treats!
This review is for the “Popular Pooch” box. My January 2017 Pooch Perks box contained 2 bags of treats and two toys. One contained chicken and one did not – not a problem as only one dog has the chicken allergy. They do not send a product information card but the box did contain a post card with a very beautiful and distinguished-looking dog on the front.
Puppy Cake – Puptato Chips 2 oz ($4.99)
These are all-natural dried sweet potato dog treats that are grain, corn and soy-free. Unfortunately they also contain dried chicken liver – less than 2% but still on the ingredients list and Rocket is allergic. Jed will enjoy them!
Dogs Love Kale – All Natural Dog Treats 6 oz ($8.99)
These are 100% natural, wheat & grain free treats made with chick pea flour, kale, green bananas, coconut, and flax seed. Made with human grade ingredients – I really think I could eat these!
“Green bananas are really good for your dog’s coat, digestion and muscle tissue vs a ripe yellow banana. Coconut contains beneficial lauric acid, which boosts the immune system.”
Multipet – Ruff Enuff Nobbly Wobbly Medium Dog Toy ($3.99)
This is a rubber dog toy that “encourages exercise and interaction” and the rubber is supposed to be strong enough for heavy chewers. You can throw it like any ball and it is easy for the dog to pick up and carry around. Rocket loved it but after a few throws took it to his lair and chewed holes in it. We can still use it as a throw toy but it will need to be under supervision.
Zippypaws – Squeakypad Ladybug ($6.26)
This is a no-stuffing plush 6 1/2″ X 5″ squeak toy that contains 2 large Blaster squeakers. It is big enough for them to feel like they have a goodly size toy and they LOVE the squeaking!
The retail value of the dog goodies in the January Pooch Perks box came to $24.23. This is less than the cost of the box and not the $35 value they advertise – for the second month straight. I am taking into account the fact that one dog does not eat chicken, but there are many other meat-based treats that could be included in the box to increase the value. My boys love the treats and toys but I could purchase them myself for less money. I am looking forward to the February box to see how things develop with this subscription!
Did your dogs get the January Pooch Perks box? What did your pups receive?
I love subscription boxes! The ones for pets are absolutely adorable. They have such cute and creative things in the box. I agree with you when you said “Sometimes I am tempted to try some of these doggie treats!” So worth getting this for our furbaby! 😉 Thank you for sharing!!
i love this
Omgosh what fun and delicious doggy treats!! I love that they are veggie based but super fun to eat!!
I love these subscription boxes for your pets, I think we treat ourselves to so many goodies, so why not treat our furry family member.

I am very impressed with the variety of treats offered in these bountiful boxes. I see these treats and toys as highly attainable and appreciated the no-shipping fee policy.
I love seeing products from pet subscription boxes. I like that this one is so flexible. My dog doesn’t play with toys so I would get the treats-only box.
Love your reviews Joanne! After seeing several months of pup type boxes, I think it’s more than clear that pet treater is the best value. Far better than this one. I’m doing it, pulling the trigger and subscribing 🙂 thank you!
