Glossybox Subscription Box Review January 2016 + Coupon Code!
Opening my January Glossybox on a very cold and snowy winter’s day warmed me right up! This is just about my favorite beauty subscription box to explore every month and I have never been disappointed in the quality products they send! You can subscribe to Glossybox for $21 each month with free shipping within the USA and receive 5 great beauty products to enjoy.
Once you fall in love with this little jewel there is a 6 month plan and a 12 month plan you can purchase. The 12 month plan brings the cost down to $18.50 per month!
This January box had a good assortment of hair, skin and makeup products along with the ever-so-handy fold out product information flyer that I always appreciate in a subscription box. It tells you about each item, gives a value price and includes tips and tidbits to help you use each item to achieve the best results with its application. Nice!
Emite Make Up Diamond Heart Illuminating Base Primer Full Size 1.2 oz ($29)
This is an illuminating base primer, which means it helps give your skin a pretty glow and you can wear it under your foundation or all by itself. It helps minimize imperfections and evens out skin tone. It has a beige make up color when it comes out of the tube but blends into the skin evenly and doesn’t provide noticeable color. I like the mild scent, but this might not work for you if you like your cosmetics unscented.
Royal Apothic Cream Crème To Go Travel Size 1.25 oz ($14)
I received the Venetian Grove scent in this lush body cream and I love it! It is a soft floral scent, reminds me of spring, and makes my hands feel soft and smell pretty! This moisturizer has lactic acid from milk proteins to exfoliate and olive oil along with Vitamins A & E to soften and repair skin.
Beautiful Nutrition Lemon Rinse Gentle Clarifying Treatment sample size 2 oz (Full Size, 13.3 oz is $10)
This is a pH balancing restorative rinse to cleanse the product buildup from your hair. Use it once weekly after your usual shampoo and conditioner, let it sit for 30 seconds and then rinse out. It is good for all hair types as well as color treated hair. This smells like lemonade – don’t drink the rinse!!
MeMeMe Lip Glide in Playful Peach Full Size ($12.50)
This is such a pretty peach color! It is a little light for me but I like the creamy satin finish and it stays on well.
-417 Foot Nourishing Cream sample size 1.7 oz ($9)
This foot cream has Dead Sea water and aloe vera juice to soften your dry, cracked soles and keep your feet smelling great. It has a soft, rather fruity scent. I don’t know about Dead Sea water, but aloe vera juice has been known for years as a wonderful natural skin remedy.
The value of this January Glossybox is around $66, a great bargain for the purchase price of $21. I know I will have softer skin and healthier hair going forward into February. And since we are going on a cruise next month it will be sweet to have some of these smaller size products to pack in my suitcase! Did you receive the January Glossybox? What was your favorite item??
