Glossybox February 2016 Subscription Box Review
I am ever so late with my box reviews this month but it was a lovely vacation nonetheless! The Glossybox February 2016 box was, as always, a joy to receive! Glossybox has remained on the top of my favorites list since the first box arrived and they never disappoint me when I see what little beauty gems I get to enjoy each month!
You can subscribe to Glossybox for $21 each month with free shipping within the USA and receive 5 great beauty products to enjoy. There is also a 6 month plan (same price as the monthly plan) and a 12 month plan. The 12 month plan brings the cost down to $18.50 per month.
The Glossybox February 2016 was packaged in a beautiful red/pink/white box with matching ribbon and tissue paper to complement the Valentine’s Day theme of “Love is in the Air.” Always includes is a foldout product description/price card to let you know just what they curated for the current month’s box. I love the attention to detail that this shows in a subscription box!
Teeez Cosmetics Oasis Gem Lipstick in Heat Wave Ruby Full Size ($22)
A super pigmented color in a limited edition berry hue, great for when you want to look your best! This 8 hour long-lasting lipstick has a satin, matte finish. And the tube is cool, too!
Glamglow ThirstyCleanse Daily Hydrating Cleanser 1 oz size ($14)
This is a daily Mud to Foam cleanser for dry and dehydrated skin. And that is just what I have, especially in the winter. It “combines the power of mud with pure green coconut water to create a foaming lather that gently and effectively rinses away makeup and dirt while hydrating your face.” I couldn’t have said it better myself! The mud part is rare Brazilian yellow clay to remineralize the skin. In addition to the green coconut water, they include olive milk and plumeria flower blossom extract. This cleanser made my skin feel soft and fresh and I approve!
Biorepublic Skincare Sheet Mask 1 mask Full Size ($5)
I had to send my husband to the grocery store before I tried this! I figured the 15 minute application time would just about give me time to apply and evaluate before he got home! The mask is infused with pomegranate extract and vitamin E, though the main ingredients are water and glycerin. It is used to brighten and energize skin tone and promote an even and smooth complexion. It made my skin feel fresh and did not dry it out. The package says no rinsing is needed, but you at least need a tissue to wipe off the excess when you remove the mask.
Etre Belle Cosmetics Golden Skin Roll-On Caviar Eye Gel sample size .34 oz ($45 for .5 oz)
This roll on gel smoothes, relaxes and refreshes tired skin around the eyes. It makes the area around the eyes look refreshed and firmer. You can apply it twice daily or as needed.
Benefit Cosmetics The Porefessional Face Primer sample size 0.1 oz ($31 for .75 oz)
This is a facial balm that minimizes the appearance of pores. The oil-free, lightweight, translucent formula can be worn under makeup or used throughout the day to tamp down shine.
The Glossybox February 2016 was all about putting your best face forward in the romantic month of February! I roughly calculated the value of the items at over $65, a very good use of your $21 paid for the box. The March box will be here soon and I can’t wait to get my hands on it! What did you think of this month’s Glossybox?
