We just had to have Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas Advent Calendar this year! ​​This is definitely not your everyday chocolate or beauty Advent calendar; a perfect fit for the bizarre and unreal year we are living through! This Funko Pocket Pop calendar includes 24 spooky Pocket Pop mini-figures hidden behind the little doors. The retail price is listed at $59.99 but Amazon has a pre-order price of $39.96 with free shipping (to be in stock on 10/23).

No need to search for your door to locate your day’s surprise creepy character. All the numbers are lined up sequentially on bright colored gift boxes.

All of the figures are wrapped in their own package so that is what you see when you open each Advent day’s door. Keep a pair of scissors nearby so you can release your surprise character!

These little figures are just creepy-cute! You could use them for Halloween as well as Christmas, though it is a bit late to start opening the boxes for the month of October!

Each amazingly detailed vinyl figure is approximately 2″ tall. Though all the characters are from Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas, there are duplicates of some of the characters (especially Jack) which the kids found a bit disappointing. But overall this was a really fun and different Advent calendar for 2020 and would be perfect for Funko figure collectors!
