Halloween Marshmallow Pops
Sometimes you find just the perfect recipe that is both kid-friendly and yummy! These Halloween Marshmallow Pops are all that – fun and easy-peasy for a 6 year old to decorate and a sweet treat for the family to enjoy!
Just a few ingredients are needed to create our Halloween marshmallow masterpieces:
- Large marshmallows
- Candy Melts – we chose orange and black
- Candy Sprinkles in fall colors
- Popsicle Sticks
And at least one excited child who wishes we would stop taking photos and just get on with the Marshmallow Pops!
We had to decide on either spreading the candy melts or dipping the marshmallows into them. The orange candy melts had a fairly thick consistency – even totally melted – so we decided to spread the candy melts on each marshmallow.
Hands all washed, now it was Gabe’s turn to choose his favorite sprinkle mixture to decorate his marshmallow. We placed a pie dish underneath to catch most of the spills and had a vacuum cleaner standing by for when we were finished!
We made a great Halloween Marshmallow Pop team! And I even got to decorate a few!
