February 2016 POPSUGAR Must Have

I am so stoked about this month’s POPSUGAR Must Have! I love all of the beautiful, feminine items we have received so far and couldn’t wait to dive into February’s box. Since this is the month of love, I have high expectations for my POPSUGAR box.

Tilo Heart Print Scarf – Value:  $125.00

This scarf was exclusively designed for POPSUGAR by Tilo in Canada. This is a very elegant, lightweight scarf with heart prints that taper off from the bottom. The edges are fringed and the light grey color can go with practically any outfit! I love it! (And so did my cats, unfortunately…)

Each scarf is individually handmade out of 100% Modal.

Beautycounter Nourishing Cleansing Balm – Value:  $50.00

Holy cow! This stuff is expensive! The cleansing balm comes with a clear spatula and white muslin cloth. This is an oil-based cleanser that works wonders as a makeup remover as well as provides hydration to dry skin upon application. I am wary of these products since I have naturally oily skin. One thing I noticed was my jar did not have a protective seal under the lid. Either way, I’m going to be gifting this to mom since I cannot use it!

JewelryStorm Endless Arrow Ring – Value:  $28.00

This is a sweet little gold-colored ring with a very impressive sparkle! The arrow comes together at the top and the ring is slightly adjustable. There are clear crystals adorning the top half of the ring with a beautiful hammered detail that wraps around the bottom.

Fringe Studio Hello Beautiful Square Tray – Value:  $14.00

This is a very dainty kiln-fired glass tray measuring 4.5″ x 4.5″. The corners are rounded upwards making this a great ring tray (for non-cat owners). I set this on my desk in my home office because it’s pretty and I wanted to display it. I went into my office one morning and found it filled with little plastic animals. Little G thought it was the perfect swimming hole for his farm animals. 🙂

There is a gold foil underlay within the glass which is visible from the bottom. It creates a really neat wrinkled effect!

Foodstirs Heart Cookie Mix – Value:  $12.95

This is such a cute idea! I have never heard of Foodstirs before now and already feel I could really get into it! Foodstirs was co-founded by Sarah Michelle Gellar, Galit Laibow, and Gia Russo, intended to bring families together, sans technology, and have fun baking delicious treats without artificial ingredients, preservatives, flavors or dyes. Awesome! This sugar cookie mix came in a little drawstring bag and included the dry mix, pink sugar crystals, and a thin heart-shaped cookie cutter. The instructions are listed on the card as well as the additional ingredients needed. I have to confess that I’ve been telling my husband for the last week that I need to make these sugar cookies and yet the package is still sitting right in front of me, mocking me. Tomorrow… Little G and I will bake these tomorrow!!

Victoria’s Secret Coconut Milk Hydrating Body Lotion – Value:  $18.00

I am always excited to receive body lotions in boxes, since Little G’s skin gets very dry in the winter. This body lotion is much thinner than what we usually use, which easily absorbs into the skin and leaves a lovely, light coconut scent. It isn’t the greatest for extremely dry skin, but it works great after washing hands. It doesn’t feel oily or greasy and is paraben-free.

Victoria’s Secret Sport Socks – Value:  $4.92

These socks came as a bonus in the box! I can always use new running socks and really like the elastic in the center and the heel guard.

Victoria’s Secret Rewards Card – Value:  $20.00

SWEET! Victoria’s Secret also shared a $20 reward card with every subscriber! It expires on March 31 and can be redeemed in store or online (not valid in Canada). What a great extra surprise! I need to keep this on my desk so I won’t forget to order something before it expires!

February 2016 POPSUGAR Must Have Total Value:  $272.87

Holy moly! I am in LOVE with the February POPSUGAR Must Have! Not only can I use or gift everything in this box but the value is crazy good this month! I am really excited to make the sugar cookies with Little G this weekend. Let’s hope they turn out great so we can gobble them up like little piggies!
