First peek! And oh my goodness, that is chocolate.
Like always, the information card provides details on each item in the box, pricing, a coupon code when available, and the vendor’s web address for you to use if you found a product or company you enjoy!
Small Keys “Be My Valentine” Handmade Soap (3.5 oz) – Value: $5.00
This soap bar smells divine. Small Keys is an Etsy shop located in Charlotte, NC!! That is just two hours away from me! (NC represent!) All soaps are hand created in small batches then sliced, cured and packaged solely by shop owner, Toni South. Be My Valentine Soap is all natural and made with essential oils, dark chocolate, white kaolin clay and Australian red clay. This is the prettiest bar of soap I’ve ever owned and I’m kind of having trouble letting myself actually use it…
Balanced Guru Hug Me Body Butter (4 oz) – Value: $19.99
This body butter, like all Balanced Guru products, is cruelty-free and made with certified organic ingredients. We received the Balanced Guru Soothe Me body oil in our December Kloverbox and are still lathering it on Little G’s skin after his bath. (We love it.) I was really pleased to see another Balanced Guru product this month! I opened up the jar to find what looked like a ton of balm. My hands have been drying out and cracking with the random cold snaps we’ve had here in the mountains so I was happy to give it a try. The body butter (balm) feels extremely oily and thin when applied, but “dries” in just a couple minutes to give me beautifully soft skin. I probably won’t replace my cocoa butter lotion with this but I’m happy to add it to my beauty arsenal.
Q.C. Naturals Karan’s Cleanser (4 oz) – Value: $16.50
So I’ve talked about my face before, but in case you missed it, I have oily skin. Like, hormones-are-my -worst-enemy-oily. I am extremely skeptical of trying new skincare products on my face because of it. Still, I am here to speak TRUTH about important things and stuff and junk… so I tried the cleanser this evening after a long day at work and can tell you that my face officially feels like a rockstar.
I got a whole bunch of yucky dirt off my face with the cleanser and then rinsed my face with warm water, as directed. The day’s oils were gone, I smelled like flowers, and my face wasn’t chapped! I kept saying “wow” until Jonathan told me to quit it. This has a ridiculously small ingredients list and is very effective! Goodbye Neutrogena and hello Q.C. Naturals!!
Theo 70% Dark Chocolate Cinnamon Crunch Bar (3 oz) – Value: $3.99
This chocolate bar is gluten free, soy free, kosher AND vegan. Not enough goodness for you? It’s also certified organic, fair trade and non-GMO verified. PLUS it is the size of Little G’s face. I have not attempted to open this yet for fear I will lose all pretense of self-control. I will most likely be giving this to mom who has an insatiable love of dark chocolate AND spicy cinnamon. This will help both my waistline and maintaining my status as the best daughter ever.
My Thoughts
February 2016 Kloverbox Total Value: $45.48
Man, I love this month’s box! I consider any subscription box a huge success if I discover just one product that I can’t live without. I’m realizing now that I have a “thing” for natural skin care / beauty products and I never would have known that without Kloverbox. I’m looking forward to using Karan’s Cleanser on the daily and will make myself try (i.e. mess up) that gorgeous valentine soap!
Kloverbox’s value always surpasses the cost of the box and I am jumping for joy at this month’s curation! I really respect that the prices listed on the info cards are always spot-on with true retail values and I totally dig the amazing coupon codes that are included for the vendors! (Time to stockpile cleanser? Heck yeah!)
Now I am really looking forward to the March Kloverbox! Don’t forget to use coupon code HSC10 to save 10% off ANY length subscription!!

Awesome review! So glad you found our cleanser refreshing + effective! Enjoy!
I can’t decide what I would be more excited about. It would be either the Balanced Guru Hug Me Body Butter or the Small Keys “Be My Valentine” Handmade Soap. Both of them look amazing!
