Fall 2016 Walmart Beauty Box Review
Walmart has a beauty box subscription program that sends you a box of seasonal beauty essentials four times yearly – Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter, for only the flat shipping cost of $5.00. These items are mainly (but not all) samples, are relevant to the season, and are chosen to fit your life stage.
The Homespun Chics paid for this subscription box. All opinions are 100% our own. This post contains affiliate links.
I love the Fall 2016 Walmart Beauty Box, even though it is mainly samples, because for the tiny cost of the box I get to try out everyday items that I am much more likely to purchase than the very expensive, premium beauty products found in the most of the other beauty sub boxes I review. There is no product information card included and that might be (partly) because everyone gets something different in their box, depending on your age group and preferences in the form you fill out when you subscribe.
Village Naturals Therapy – Aches + Pains Nighttime Relief 2 oz ($2.00)
This is a concentrated mineral bath soak with Lavender, chamomile, and menthol. The essential oils and extracts plus sea salt and Epson salts help draw out impurities and ease sore muscles. Don’t have time for a full body soak? Just soak your tired, achy feet!
Dove – Purely Pampering Nourishing Body Wash in Sweet Cream w/ Peony 1.8 oz ($.50)
This is a creamy body wash with a sweet floral scent. It contains nutrium moisture to give you softer, smoother skin after one shower. And I love and trust Dove skin care products!
Schwarzkopf – Essence Ultime Diamond Color & Radiance Shampoo & Conditioner 1.7 oz each ($1.84)
These are a shampoo and conditioner duo with “Luxurious Pearl Essence” for color luminosity and protection. The shampoo seals in color for up to 30 washes. They have diamond gloss serum and UV filter and are (obviously) for colored or highlighted hair. And that’s great because I happen to have colored hair, so I will be using the heck out these samples!
Eucerin – Eczema Relief Body Crème .35 oz ($.35)
This is an oatmeal & Ceramide-3 enriched daily moisture cream. It is thick and creamy, great for dry, itchy, eczema prone skin. My husband has very dry skin in the winter and has used this cream with great results in the past!
Cetaphil – Moisturizing Cream 1 oz ($.67)
This moisturizing cream is clinically proven to provide immediate and lasting relief from extremely dry skin. It is fragrance-free. I used this last winter and can attest to it helping my face feel and look so much better when the weather is cold and dry. It just feels good!
RoC – Multi Correxion 5 in 1 Chest, Neck & Face Cream .17 oz
This is a tiny sample of RoC’s newest cream. It is supposed to be clinically proven to visibly smooth fine lines on the chest and neck in 4 weeks with a specially crafted formula with Hexinol. Not sure what that is. But I like that it has a SPF 30 broad spectrum sunscreen in the mix.
Burt’s Bees – Cleansing Oil with Coconut & Argan Oils .16 oz
This is another tiny sample of a new product. I always like Burt’s Bees skin care and this one is 100% natural and rich in antioxidants. It dissolves dirt and makeup without stripping your skin or leaving an oily residue. It is for normal to dry skin, so that pretty much includes everyone!
The retail value of the samples in the Fall 2016 Walmart Beauty Box came to $5.36, just about what I paid for the box. And I have some new beauty products to explore and some old friends to keep my skin company over the dry winter season. Did you get a Fall 2016 Walmart Beauty Box? What was in yours?
Wow that’s a lot of great products and mostly things I have never tried before. I will definitely be checking this out. Thanks!
Very nice products
So sad I missed mine this month!! Gah!! 🙁
Hi, I just wanted to warn people that I have been getting emails from someone pretending to be with Walmart regarding my beauty box subscriptions which I have not opened but sent to spam. It is about my boxes being ready for pick up. I know the $5 price includes shipping to my home. Do not open these emails as they are spam.
This Walmart Beauty Box is a great value.
I haven’t tried this one yet…. looks like a good selection of products
