FabFitFun Subscription Box Review Winter 2015
FabFitFun is a quarterly subscription box that ships to the US and Canada. The price is $49.99/quarter and if you look around you can find coupon codes to drop that price a bit. But it is chock full of great hand-selected beauty, fashion, fitness and wellness items worth much more than the price of the box itself. The annual plan is $179.99, an even greater savings! The items are all full size, not samples.
The box comes with a glossy mini magazine that details the items in the box and has interviews and other articles. This is a very nice touch!!
Candlenut Body Crème by Juara 7.50 oz ($35)
This provides your skin with the nourishment of candlenut oil for a velvety and luxurious treat. It is creamy and rich, and makes your skin so soft.
Wine Stopper and Charm Set by FabFitFun ($15)
This is a silicone wine bottle stopper and six silicone little wine charm guys, dishwasher safe and PBA free. Very cute.
Travel Set with Special Cleansing Gel, Multi-Active Toner, and Skin Smoothing Cream by Dermalogica ($45)
These are a great size for traveling and I travel a lot. So score!
Fingerless Gloves by Whitney eve X FabFitFun ($28)
The ones I received are black though annual subscribers could choose between black and grey. I like having my fingers free to work when I am outside in the cold and these are perfect.
Diffuser by EJH Brand 3 oz ($37)
I received the Sugar Cookie fragrance and they also had cinnamon, pomegranate, or lavender to select from if you are an annual subscriber.
Nail Polish by Zoya ($9)
I received a dark red (Vanessa) described by Zoya as “soft but saturated dark pink berry creme with red undertones. A sultry oxblood shade that looks very polished.” A very pretty shade and great for this time of year.
The “Donna” Earbuds by Frends ($80)
I received the white & silver ones but annual subscribers could choose between those or black & gold or black & rose gold. These came in a little bag. The color did not matter as my daughter snagged them before I even had a chance to try them out. But I have read very good reviews on these.
Gift Card by Sweet and Spark ($40)
This is a non-expiring gift card for curated vintage jewelry from the 1950s – 1990s. Shipping is free and they do have items for $40 and under. Unless you see something you want now, I would wait for a few months and try again.
Gift Card by Shoptiques ($25)
This store is an online destination that allows you to shop the world’s best boutiques.
The value of the box was $312, quite a bargain for $49.99! I loved that they didn’t send a few full size items mixed with samples and that there was a great mix of products. The models they used for the front of the magazine looked like they were 14 years old which I think is counterproductive to a box being promoted to adult women. Other than that little issue, this box was a great value with quality products and I will try them again this spring.

I adore this idea, the subscription boxes are so much fun and one that has so many items for a pamper yourself day is wonderful.
