The Eat Feed Love February 2016 theme was love and romance. As always, each item was carefully wrapped and padded. I have never had a broken jar come out of one of their boxes and I can always feel the care and attention given to preparing each box for shipping. My husband and I always enjoy unwrapping each item to see what is inside – it’s like getting a box of gifts every month!
Buttermilk Red Velvet Pancake Mix 24 oz ($12)
These are absolutely delicious! I have to say I was a little put off by the RED color of the mix, and I had to try a few before I found right temperature for the pan. But once I got the basic “how to make a pancake” figured out, we loved them! They are sweet, chocolaty, and more like dessert than a breakfast. I made the recipe on the back of the box for the cream cheese topping and it was also perfectly divine enhancement for our pancakes!
Stash Original Honey Sticks 20 stick – 3 oz ($5.50)
This is a package of 20 individually sealed sticks of pure clover honey, perfect for stirring into your tea. They are Kosher and manufactured in the USA.
Chado Rose Black Tea ?4 oz ($5)
This tea smells so good – just like tea and roses! Perfect for this time of year and just what you need to stir your honey sticks into. The steeped cup of tea is light and refreshing.
Beanilla Tahitian Vanilla Extract Single Fold 2 oz ($10)
“Floral aroma, caramel, anise and cherry-chocolate flavors make vanilla from Tahiti unmistakable and highly prized. Vanilla from Tahiti is often regarded the best in the world.” I think it smells great and will make my cookies even more delicious!
Hampton Chocolate Factory Mint Nib Crunch Bar 2.1 oz ($9)
This is 72% dark chocolate cacoa nibs in a minty chocolate, all natural, Kosher artisan chocolate. What can I say but that it is Heaven in a Chocolate Bar! And you know that dark chocolate is a health food, right!??
Whole Spice Napa Valley Rose Sugar 3.6 oz ($9)
Oh Yum!! This is made with organic evaporated cane juice sugar and rosebuds. So it tastes like sweet roses, leaves a taste of rosebuds in your mouth and I am in love!
What a box! The combination of chocolate and roses couldn’t have been better for a romantic February presentation! I calculated the value of the Eat Feed Love February 2016 box at just over $40 which is the just about exactly the cost. I can’t wait to see what March brings!
