These Easy Southern Cream Cheese Sausage Balls fall into that special category of beloved appetizers! They are indeed easy to prepare and taste great with some hot sauce, maybe with a dip of ranch dressing, or just by themselves.


Easy Southern Cream Cheese Sausage Balls
Ingredients
- 1 lb Breakfast sausage Hot or Mild
- 2.5 cups Bisquick Baking Mix
- 8 oz Cream cheese, softened
- 8 oz Extra sharp cheddar cheese, grated
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Combine sausage, cream cheese, and cheddar cheese with mixer

Slowly incorporate the baking mix into the mixture

Form into balls and place on a lined baking sheet

Bake for 25 minutes

Serve at room temperature

Sausage combines better with other ingredients if allowed to come to room temperature before mixing. Sausage balls can be made ahead and frozen for later. Place in a 350 degree oven for 15 minutes to reheat.
