Pet Treater – ‘Feliz Naughty Dog’ Bandana ($4.99)
This is a really cute play on words and I love the lime green color this month!
Our newest addition to our fur family, Waffles the Dood, loved rocking his new bandana! And since he’s still a (big) pup, he also had a wonderful time chewing on it when I wasn’t looking… Oops!
Puppy Cake – Wheat-Free Red Velvet Cake & Frosting Mix for Dogs ($8.99)
We’ve received several of these Puppy Cake mixes over the years and each one is incredibly simple to make and they look so cute when finished! We’re saving this cake mix to make for all the dogs on Christmas day because everyone deserves a little sweetness over the holiday! We will do the mini cupcakes since they’re really quick to bake and are perfectly bite-size. 🙂
Loving Pets – Apple Wrapped with Chicken 1.25 oz ($9.93 – 6 oz bag)
Both Beeba and Waffles loved these treats. They’re soft and chewy, though Beeba may have swallowed hers completely whole. Waffles is still searching around my feet as I type in case I might have dropped another one by accident. These treats get an A+ in this house!
Emmy’s Gourmet Canine Creations – Christmas Tree Dog Treat ($5.75 – Christmas Variety Pack)
Beeba LOVES these large, homemade dog treats! This is the best part of any Pet Treater box for her and I don’t even ask her to share this treat with her little brother, Waffles. Since it’s so close to Christmas, this dog cookie is going straight in her stocking for Christmas day! And yes, we are THOSE people who have stockings for all our animals.
Bicycle – The Dog Artist Collection Playing Cards ($7.49)
Looks like we got a fun, human treat this month! These playing cards have the cutest of cute pups featured on every card. This would make a perfect, last-minute stocking stuffer for the dog lover in your life!
Little Critters – Pet Protect Quality First Aid Kit ($14.99)
This is a very handy emergency first aid kit for your pet! It’s compact enough to store in the car’s glovebox and can easily be stashed in a backpack when out hiking or going for a walk with your favorite furry friend. The kit contains a tick remover, an emergency blanket, two rolls of conforming bandages, a pair of vinyl gloves, 5ml saline solution, 10 non-woven gauze pads, four Povidone iodine prep pads, first aid tape, tourniquet, scissors and tweezers!
Bow Wow Pet – Holiday Knotted Barrel Rope Toy for Dogs ($12.99)
This is a really cute and festive rope toy! It feels pretty tough but still flexes when I bend it. Our pup, Waffles, is such a rough chewer that I’m afraid he would actually eat pieces of this rope more than he would play with it. Instead of letting it go to waste, we’re going to donate this one to a dog in need at a local shelter!
Bow Wow Pet – Holiday Stuffing-Free Santa Dog Toy ($10?)
Oooh yes. Stuffing-less dog toys are the best invention for pups that love ripping toys apart. Is it just me, or do all dogs make it their mission to un-stuff their toys as fast as possible? This toy is super crinkly and came with a little squeaker sewn into the hat.
This Santa toy lasted a solid week before Waffles delicately opened up his hat to access the squeaker (which we discarded immediately). Later that day, he proceeded to tear off Santa’s left arm and carried what remained of Santa out to the back yard for a nice long soak in the mud. Totally worth it!
The December 2018 Pet Treater box was a definite win for our house! The dogs are going to love all their noms and the Santa toy was a real hit. You can’t beat the value on Pet Treater’s boxes and this one was themed perfectly for the Christmas holiday!
