Amidst being able to fully customize the layout to suit my weird brain, this means I also get to decorate my inserts using all of the fantastic stickers and washi tapes that I receive each month from Stickii Club! The hardest part is waiting for my planner to arrive… it’s shipping from the UK and I feel like it’s been ages since we’ve ordered it. Boo!

December 2016 Stickii Club
Retro Pack Theme: Peaceful Life
I was intrigued by the “Peaceful Life” theme and couldn’t wait to dig in and see all the lovelies inside my envelope. As always, Stickii Club provided several full-size sheets of stickers, a washi tape sample, and a handful of individual stickers. I enjoy the different themes each month and feel the curation is extremely thoughtful and unique.
I almost always look at the small stickers and washi tape first! I can’t help myself; I just love tiny, cute things! The teeny stickers are protected in a ziplock bag to keep them from getting lost.
I LOVE the washi tape sample this month! The house illustrations look like folk art. Stickii Club included a little bonus animal paperclip in every sticker pack this month. I received this darling duck! I can’t wait to use it in my new planner!
I also got 12 teensy shop stickers that are remarkably detailed and über adorable! Wee!
I am in love with any stickers that have gold foiling. These will be perfect for using in my meal planning section! I hope to write down all of my go-to recipes and construct a list of my family’s 30 favorite meals to choose from each week.
This sheet of stickers almost look like they were created using watercolors!
Aw! Look at all of the teddy bears! Each bear is unique, yet equally adorable. I love that there are plenty of different sticker sizes to choose from.
Even the little girl has teddy bear ears! Isn’t she just precious?!
I never know what to do with stickers where there are spaces for writing. Maybe these would be good for bullet journaling (or any journaling?) and maybe can be used for making gift tags.
I do like all of the encouragement here. “Every morning tell yourself that you are getting better and better” is an excellent mantra to recite on the daily. 🙂
This sheet will be quite useful when decorating planner inserts! The stickers are on a slightly milky background but once you remove them from the backing, are actually clear.
Of course, having plenty of holiday, monthly, and birthday stickers is a huge plus for mapping out schedules. The borders are beautiful as well. I can’t wait to use these!
This is my favorite sticker sheet in the pack this month. The hand-drawn element is unique and charming. Visiting Russia is on my bucket list, though I’m sure the cold would just about kill me… What fascinates me the most is the art and architecture. I’d love to study up close the icon paintings found in the Tretyakov Gallery located in Moscow or visit the famed Cathedral of St. Basil which was built under the rule of Ivan IV (the Terrible).
My most prized “trinket” collection is that of my Matryoshka nesting dolls (top left). I purchased my very first Matryoshka while on a vacation to London with my parents when I was 10 years old. The doll is extremely detailed, hand painted with gold foiling. The smallest doll in the center measures around 2cm! Just gorgeous. I have no idea what I’ll do with this sticker sheet, but I’m tempted to just laminate it as-is and use it as a divider in my planner!
This sheet has quite the vintage charm and is filled with realistic images of floral arrangements, sweet gifts, and trinkets that one could find in a cozy cottage!
It’s hard to tell, but there are silver foil accents on some of the stickers. The sheet is almost too pretty to split up!
Lastly, we have my second most-favorite sticker sheet for the month! All of these houses are inspiring me to get it together this Spring and start packing so we can begin looking for our new home! Each sticker is unique and oh my goodness, I just noticed the McDonalds/barbershop building in the bottom left. Ha!
Some of these houses are making me crave a vacation… palm trees anyone? 😉
Final Thoughts
I thought the December 2016 Stickii Club Retro Pack was outstanding! I enjoyed the “Peaceful Life” theme and admit that I felt a bit of nostalgia while going through all of the different designs. I can’t wait to begin actually using all of the stickers I’ve been hoarding for the past several months and will certainly be brainstorming on how to incorporate a lot of this month’s stickers into my new planner!

oh my, I would love all of these stickers. I love using stickers when making my cards. And I let the kids use them once in awhile.
