Craftly is a lifestyle subscription box that sends hand picked, high quality items each month from small businesses, independent artists, and mid-to-large scale brands. No samples, only full size products. The price is $25 with free shipping within the USA. The subscription service is month to month, autorenewing each month, and you can cancel any time. Craftly ships between the 15th-18th of each month. New subscribers who sign up before the 15th will receive the current month’s box. All subscription orders processed after the 15th will ship the following month.

The theme of the December 2016 Craftly box is 

WILD

 Craftly always has a great product information card that includes photos and accurate pricing. They curate mainly unisex products for their monthly boxes.

Barnaby Black – Winter Fir Lodge Spray 2 oz ($30)

This is a Christmas tree in a bottle! It is small-batch made with “100% wild foraged aromatics,” from plants and trees gathered in the wilderness and having their aromas extracted in the company’s workshop. The company has a fascinating array of products on their website.

“Our wildcrafted products are a labor of love.  After we sustainably harvest plants and trees we take them to our workshop where we tincture, infuse, enfleurage and steam distill them.  The oils and delicate smells we extract are the heart and soul of our fragrances and being that they are 100% all natural, straight from the source our fragrances are not heavy like most industrial, chemist made fragrances.”

Pair of Thieves – Sigourney Woven socks ($10)

These are “ready for everything” socks that have high performance elements with a bold design. They are a moisture wicking, breathable cotton blend and very comfortable. Craftly had a Pair of Thieves men’s sock this month too, but I was very happy to receive the women’s version so I didn’t have to give a pair of great socks away to my husband!

Formulary 55 – Bourbon & Vanilla Shea Butter Soap 2 oz ($5)

This is small-batch, handcrafted soap made from coconut oil, palm oil, and shea butter and scented with phthalate free fragrance and essential oils. It is superfatted so it is luxuriously extra moisturizing and skin softening. And it smells like the name suggests – bourbon and vanilla!

Ritual Chocolate – Fleur De Sel Dark Chocolate with Sea Salt 2.12 oz ($8)

This is a divine dark chocolate bar made with French salt and craft chocolate, 70% cacao so no guilt involved – this is good for you. Trust me! Really!

 

The retail value of the items curated for the December 2016 Craftly box added up to $53. Each one of  this month’s products were high-end and introduced me to small companies that I had never known previously. I can’t pick a favorite – I swear they must have had my name in mind for this box! Funky socks, delicious soap, wonderful candy, and a dreamy scent for my room – it doesn’t get much better here when I open a subscription box!!
