December 2015 Crazy CatLadyBox

My Crazy CatLadyBox arrived just before Christmas and I couldn’t wait to see what Dorian and the team picked out! Last month’s box was so spectacular, including a great tote bag and cute watch that I use regularly as well as treats that are pretty much kitty crack. I love this subscription box so much, I used a Black Friday deal to purchase a 6-month subscription up front (don’t tell Jonathan)! Now I can rest easily knowing I have another 5 months of pre-paid boxes coming to me. Whew!

The CatLadyBox costs $34.99 per month (less for multiple-month subscriptions).

The CRAZY CatLadyBox is $39.99 per month, which has everything in the CatLadyBox plus thoughtfully curated kitty accessories and/or treats.

This month’s box came with a sweet postcard from the CatLadyBox team (instead of the letter Dorian usually includes with each box). I did not take a picture of the message on the back, but this is what it says:

Discovering Winter Art Print postcard by Krista May – Value:  $5.00

I really love that CatLadyBox features a different artist each month for the front of the information card. Krista May is an incredibly talented artist and sells her acrylic paintings on stretched canvas in her Etsy shop. She paints the most gorgeous scenes featuring sweet little cat silhouettes.  I have favorited her shop and plan to revisit once I have the funds to purchase one of her original paintings. There are quite a few beautiful 20×16″ original paintings available for $60!

The back of the card has a description of the items contained in the box and the reason for hand-selecting each item for this month’s box.

Black Cat Glass Necklace exclusively by CatLadyBox – Value:  $49.99

This is such a beautiful necklace! The hand-poured glass black cat pendant is strung on a beautiful, hand-worked 18″ sterling silver chain. I love that this necklace was inspired by Isis and Joan. This is a beautiful reminder of how a community of strangers can come together to help make a difference in someone’s life (and how Dorian Wagner, founder of CatLadyBox, is the most amazing cat lady of them all). I love this pouch! …And I just realized I didn’t take a picture of the front! On the reverse side (not pictured) it says “crazy cat lady” in cute cursive script. This is the perfect size clutch for me. I am able to fit a small notebook, pens, and my essentials in here to take with me on the go or fit into my work bag so I don’t have to carry a purse! This pouch is 100% cotton, hand-sewn with brass zipper hardware, screen printed, AND is machine washable! Zana Products is based in Cape Town, South Africa and has products available in the US through their Etsy shop. I love it!

Cat-Shaped Paper Clip Set for CatLadyBox – Value:  $7.00

These are SO precious! Oh my goodness, I flipped out when I heard the familiar sound of paperclips. I have a serious addiction to office supplies and cats, so… yeah. Dream come true right here. This is a set of (15) clips in three different designs all stored in a custom CatLadyBox slide-open box! I hope CatLadyBox makes more available in their online shop. I’d definitely grab more!

Cat Lady magnet by CatLadyBox – Value:  $3.99

Eep! I love this magnet! I already have one from a previous CatLadyBox that is proudly sticking to my filing cabinet at work. I am so glad I got a second one so I could showcase on my magnetic white board in my home office. Yay!

My five cuties tested these toys out today and both were a complete success.

Rambo usurped the rights to the Abominable Snowman from the start. She would not even consider sharing. It took me about two minutes to realize that she was hoarding due to the catnip stuffing.

The Original Crinkleball is pretty much the best toy in the universe. Fluffy. Colorful. Shiny. Crinkly. I have no idea why other toys were even made. It has been four hours now and this crinkleball is still the most coveted toy in our house.

Holy value, Batman! This has got to be the highest valued CatLadyBox to date! I am in love with this month’s curation and know that all of my kitties and myself will use everything in the box! As an added bonus, I found an awesome painting by Krista May that I am hoping to purchase in the near future to go in my home office! I can’t wait to see what’s in January’s box!
