January 2016 Girl Boss Covet Crate

It’s here! It has arrived! Covet Crate kindly sent me the inaugural Girl Boss box early so I could share it with you! I have been hoping for a box to be released specifically for business professionals and couldn’t be happier with this high quality, feminine box!

I knew I was in for a treat when I found everything wrapped in a gorgeous satin ribbon. And is that a Covet magazine??

Covet Crate pulled out all the stops on this box by including a high-gloss, professional magazine featuring a “woman who changed the world” on the front cover, which for January is Emmeline Pankhurst!

This isn’t just an information booklet, but is really a true magazine that provides a full article honoring Emmeline Pankhurst, plus inspirational quotes, details about the companies and women behind the products included in the box, special discounts, and of course, the details on what’s in the box!

This box was very heavy and I couldn’t wait to see what was inside!

Wow! What a beautiful necklace! It is a 3/4″ sterling silver circle pendant with the phrase, “find your tribe, love them hard” etched on the front. The chain measures at 16″ and has a great sparkle.

The next item I opened was this little brown box from Ready Pretty, a leading personalized styling service designed to help women create the wardrobe they always wanted.

Ready Pretty included a 25% Off coupon for any service selected! I’ve never really thought much about the way I dress since I work in the office at an organic farm, but Ready Pretty’s site explains they can help me with my weekend wardrobe and date night apparel too (yes please)!

Harvest Paper Co. Imprinted Pencils 3 pk (Like a Boss) – Value:  $5.75

 These pencils are so great. I love the sleek black cedar pencils and the subtle gold lettering. I am really looking forward to writing with these but I need to find my pencil sharpener first! (Oops!)

Create 365 The Happy Planner 18-Month Planner (Every Day is a Gift) – Value:  $24.99

This is a really sturdy, beautiful planner that can be quickly adapted for my work flow. The planner is expandable and all pages can be lifted out of the binding for easy replacement or removal. This 18-month planner runs from July 2015 through December 2016.

I LOVE the detail in the rings! So cute!

It’s really important for me to have a large two-page monthly layout in my planner. Not only does this fit my requirement, but the pages lay flat nicely and there is also an area at the beginning of each month for me to write down quick notes, important dates, birthdays, and special events.

One canoe Two Slim Notebook (Geometric) – Value:  $6.00

This is a great little notebook to toss in my purse and take with me on the go. I love the colorful front design and the lined pages in this 6×8″ notebook. It also fits perfectly inside my new planner! I can never have too many notebooks on hand.

Create 365 The Happy Planner me & My BIG Ideas Stickers 3 pk (Gold Foil) – Value:  $20.49

I love stickers! These are designed to fit exactly into the different sections of the Happy Planner. The gold foil make the stickers pop, and I am very appreciative of receiving three packages of the sticker sets. Each set contains five different sheets of stickers, so it’s nice to receive multiples of each design to use throughout the year.

American Crafts Heidi Swapp Minc Gold Binder Clips 9 pc – Value:  $7.19

These binder clips are so pretty and will really stand out in my office. I use clips for pretty much everything (receipts, notes, planners, wires, chip bags) so I’m thinking these will be the most well-used item in my box. I am loving this month’s gold theme!

American Crafts Heidi Swapp Notepads 4 pc (Black & Gold) – Value:  $9.41

Mini notebooks are my jam. I would not function without having sticky notes available to write down my necessary random thoughts, phone numbers, or messages I need to remember. These little notepads are beautiful, shiny, sparkly and so feminine! There will be no doubt who the note is from once I take these into my office!

Fleurt Collective Inspirational Quote (She believed) – Value:  $5.00

What a cute print! This printable is available in Fleurt Collective’s Etsy store. I love the saying, “She believed she could so she did.” How appropriate for the Girl Boss Box!

Fleurt Collective Inspirational Quote (Audrey Hepburn) – Value:  $5.00

This is another printable from Fleurt Collective. Audrey Hepburn is the epitome of class and sophistication. I love this inspirational quote and can’t wait to secure a frame to display this on my desk at my home office!

My Thoughts

January 2016 Girl Boss Covet Crate Total Value:  $208.83

Wow. Even without the Eliza Gwendalyn sterling silver necklace, the Girl Boss box has a total value of $83.83 (not including the 25% off Ready Pretty coupon or the cost of printing the inspirational quote printables). I love everything curated for this box and cannot believe the value and quality of the items I received for only $44.95! I am looking forward to February’s box and, of course, will continue to feed my addiction of office supplies as best I can through the new year!
