I was SO excited to receive my April Girl Boss box, especially after I saw the spoilers! This month I received a box about the size of a shoebox which I opened to reveal the classic black tissue paper tied with satin ribbon.
The front cover features Jackie Joiner-Kersee, who was voted the Greatest Female Athlete of the 20th Century by Sports Illustrated for Women. She was definitely a force to be reckoned with, winning three gold, one silver and two bronze Olympic metals in track and field.
Covet Magazine is way more than an information booklet, with an excellent article featuring a different inspirational woman each month (featured on the cover)…
… plus a wonderful interview with the “woman of the month”, which this month is Catherine Basu, owner of Fit Armadillo…
…as well as provide detailed information on the products and the companies featured in the box!
Kate Spade Glass Water Bottle | $30.00
This was one of the spoilers for the April Covet Crate! Jonathan is pretty much losing his mind over all my water bottles in our cabinet, but I can’t help myself… I LOVE glass water bottles! Subscribers could receive one of several color choices. I received the “blush” colored bottle. This 16 oz glass bottle has a pretty light pink silicone sleeve with a sturdy grey screw cap. I’m happy to add this pretty bottle to my collection, but for the record, cannot believe this bottle costs $30…
RuMe Medium Tote “Emerson” | $9.95
This was the second spoiler for the April Covet Crate box. I love reusable totes and use them every time we go to the grocery store.
This RuMe medium tote holds up to 50 LB and then folds up into the size of your palm! I love the “Emerson” pattern that was chosen for this month’s Covet Crate. I think I’ll use this for bringing work-out clothes to the office with me for when I start running at lunch again. 🙂
Mai Couture Vitamin C+E Blotting Papiers | $12.00
It has been a WHILE since I’ve used blotting paper and I forgot just how much I really like it! If you have read any of my Kloverbox reviews, you’ll know that I have naturally oily skin that is a beast to control. These papers remove oil and dirt and are infused with Vitamin C and E for a gentle quick clean.
I love that these papers are paraben and talc free too! This package contains 100 sheets (yay!) and are best used twice a day. I used my first sheet today after work and already feel the difference. These are wonderful!
Miss Violet Lace Dry Shampoo (.30 oz) | $4.00
This is the cutest little container of dry shampoo I have EVER received! This is just tiny!! Dry shampoo is hit or miss with me, so I am glad to get a sample from Miss Violet Lace to see if it is something I will use. This is the perfect size container to pop in the RuMe bag for post-workout primping!
This dry shampoo is made with kaolin clay, bentonite clay, cocoa powder, Arrowroot powder, and organic chocolate extract. You just apply it to your hair for 2-5 minutes and brush thoroughly. Easy peasy!
Covet Crate “Hustle” Pocket Jotter | $6.00
Aah!! I love that Covet Crate designed this adorable notebook and made it available for sale through their website! The pocket jotter is covered with pretty pink watercolor flowers and grey polkadots! (So cute!)
This little notebook is unlined, which is perfect for me. My notes tend to be all over the place so I prefer unlined, dotted, or grid paper. This is a great size to use as my on-the-go notebook which is shoved in my purse for quick thoughts, grocery lists, and phone numbers. Yes!
My Thoughts
