And there are price benefits to paying ahead for 3, 6 or 12 month subscriptions. I have read that prices are going up 10% the first of the year but if you have subscribed before 1/1 you will be locked into the old price.

These soaps selected are seasonally-inspired for their scents, contain no preservatives, petroleum products or animal products and the packaging is 100% recyclable with no harmful chemicals. Each bar contains coconut oil, olive oil and organic Shea butter. This is a review of the December 2015 box.

This was my first box from Clean Bar Box and I was pleased with the presentation and the selection of soaps that I received. The December box I ordered had 4 half bars and a printed sheet that described each bar of soap. This box was already ahead of the curve for that helpful touch! My little half bars were each packaged individually in nice little muslin bags, a green touch and a great to store them.

Candy Cane half bar

Candy Cane is a red/white swirl soap, very festive looking and perfect for the December box. It does have a pepperminty fragrance and would make a great holiday gift. It would also be wonderful to wash your face with to wake you up in the morning!

French Vanilla Biscotti half bar

French Vanilla Biscotti is a brown bar that smells like a vanilla cookie. I promise not to eat it but I will feel quite spoiled using it to get clean.

Cinnamon Latte half bar

Cinnamon Latte is tan with speckles of coffee grounds and smells definitely like cinnamon. The coffee grounds are a great for exfoliating so this little guy isn’t just a pretty piece of soap!

Pine Tar half bar

Pine Tar is black with a pine tree fragrance. It is another exfoliating soap to keep winter skin clean and vibrant.

One of the things I liked about this soap is that each bar is so individual that I could have picked out which was which if the description had not been included. The selection did indeed fit the season just about perfectly and if I am longing for Christmas all I will have to do is take a shower with one of them and it will take me there. As a long term soap addict (I can quit any time…) I feel I can be quite discriminating about the soaps I bring home and these were all just right! Have you tried the soaps from the Clean Bar Box?
