Broad Street Roasters Brazil Gourmet Coffee
Everyone in my family loves a bold cup of coffee and all of the coffees we try out are held to that standard. So when we had the opportunity to review Broad Street Roasters Gourmet coffees I was excited to chose their Brazil – a dark, full bodied roast. Broad Street Roasters coffees are single origin roasts, meaning that the beans come from one place and are not blends sourced from a variety of locations. The coffee beans for the Brazil roast are from the O’ Coffee Brazilian Estates which is located 800-1200 meter above sea level in Alta Mogiana, a traditional coffee region in the State of São Paulo.
“Single Origin coffees have become popular because of their traceability, but they are so much more! Beans from different countries, regions, and farms lend themselves best to certain roast levels. By working closely with the growers we roast our beans to perfection, bringing out the best taste smoothness, and unique flavor profiles.”
Broad Street Roasters Brazil Gourmet coffee is full of bold – but not too bold – flavor; smooth and balanced with no bitterness. Brazil’s flavor notes of cocoa and caramel help make it a tasty and satisfying morning cup of coffee. I just might have found a new favorite! This tasty coffee is just what I need first thing in the morning with a blueberry muffin and also works perfectly to sip on as a late morning pick-me-up – a cuppa to look forward to after the morning chores are finished!
Broad Street Roaster’s coffee is small batch roasted so you can be confident that the coffee in your single serve cups will be fresh and even flavored. The process is more expensive but produces a higher quality coffee, bringing out the best flavors in each bean. Their single serve cups are Keurig compatible, including the 2.0 brewers.

I would be interested in knowing if the coffee is Fair Trade and grown in the shade or the sun. Are those coffee singles biodegradable? Do they sell regular bags of coffee? Other than that, I LOVE Coffee! Especially, dark roast! Thanks for doing the giveaway!
Hi, Elizabeth! Great questions! I don’t believe this coffee is Fair Trade-certified since it is not advertised as such. According to the manufacturer, the Brazil roast is made with beans from the O’ Coffee Brazilian Estates located in Alta Mogiana is which is a traditional coffee region covering the northeast of the State of São Paulo. I’m unsure whether the crops are grown in the shade or sun though. Broad Street Roasters sells their coffee in individual pods only and their pods are not biodegradable at this time. Thank you for your questions! I hope this helps a little. 🙂
