Beauty Box 5 Subscription Box Nov 2015 Review
Beauty Box 5 is a sweet little monthly beauty subscription box that promises to send you 5 samples of your favorite beauty brands in each box. My first box arrived at the absolute perfect time of the year, with dry weather causing dry, cracking skin and plethora of holiday functions coming up way too soon! The cost is quite affordable, with the highest price being the monthly subscription at $12 and the best being a yearly subscription at $99. Of course you can offset that as well if you find a coupon code!
This is a review of the November 2015 box and I was quite pleased with the contents! First, there is a very handy product card that comes in the box. I always like that in a subscription box as you can see right away a description and value for each item. This month there were 3 full size items in my box that way more than paid for the cost.
Kaunis Facial Mask ($14.95) Full size
This is a lush anti-aging facial mask sheet that is to help minimize the appearance of fine lines and improve firmness. There is serum in the pouch with the sheet, so you wear the sheet on your face for 15-20 minutes and then apply the serum remaining in the pouch on your face afterward. No rinsing needed. Natural radiance enhanced!
Moodmatcher Luxe Twist Stick in Red ($8.00) Full size
This is a 12 hour color lipstick that reacts with your lips to create a one-of-a-kind shade that perfectly matches your mood. It is not supposed to smudge, feather or bleed, and is enriched with Aloe Vera and Vitamin E. The coverage is matte. I am not a red lipstick person but if I were, this pretty color lipstick would be in my makeup bag already!
The All Natural Face Vegan Matte Cream Lip & Cheek Color in Dusky Rose ($5.75) Full size
I really like this dusky rose lip and cheek color! It works for both lips and cheeks – how cool is that!
La-Fresh Good Day Day Moisturizer ($13.99) 0.5 oz sample
This is a hydrating day moisturizer to “bring back fresher and happier skin appearance.” Helps with fine lines and contains an anti-aging botanical complex. It has a light, not overpowering scent and really does make my skin feel softer. And that $13.99 cost is for a sample. The full size is $40.00 so this is great that you can try it out before you invest.
Altchek MD Eye Gel Pads, set of 2 ($20)
These DePuff Eye Pads are perfect! Too many hours slaving away at the computer and anyone’s eyes would be all puffy! Each pad is a soothing hydrator that reduces the appearance of fine lines and puffiness of the fragile areas under the eyes.
So, was the Beauty Box 5 a good buy? Absolutely! I highly recommend them if you are looking for quality beauty products at a rock bottom price!
The Homespun Chics paid for this subscription. All opinions are 100% our own.
It looks like there is some great stuff in there!
I like surprise boxes like this. No money to get them, but I still like them.
